Lol 15. Was Joe involved?
Had a look at that 15, very interesting stuff indeed. What I've taken from it is that the problems has been in trying to use a mixed feedstock and certain other sources.
Now with phe they seem to favour plastic, which with it being derived from oil, I'm no chemist but it would make a lot of sense to me if it were much easier and more controllable to process than an old kettle, a kitchen sink, a bag full of dog shi*, yesterday's dinnertime leftovers and some other everyday throwaway items
Now I might be completely wrong but that seems to be what they've been doing via the carbolite in the lab? We shall see.
For the record, and I promise this is something that I seen recently. The report that gets brought up when googling that air products failure, along with a few others mentions scotgen.
A few weeks ago I seen something on LinkedIn where someone that was involved with that site (can't remember his name but it looked Finnish) was very critical of why the plant ended up having its licence revoked.
He went on in some detail to explain his involvement, experience and knowledge of gasification and finished with a bit of a blast at what was "the real reason" it failed. It read to me that he was saying there was something underhand about the whole thing.
I'll try and find the piece again, if I do I will share the link. I actually looked for it a few days ago because after watching a phe interview on proactive it came to mind.
