RE: PHE Directors10 Jul 2024 12:08
Philsum, not sure why it matters so much if there are 5 or 55 directors. Offcourse there is the salary to consider but looking at it more simply you could say that having more people at that level can make for a stronger business?
With 5, then the chances of 1 person simply making all the decisions is less likely so could well lead to fewer irrational moves.
We don't know what all is going on in the background so perhaps it's by design to help try and progress things.
As for who's doing the work etc, it's very simple to see who is involved with Phe and Engsolve and their individual qualifications /background etc.
Looks to me that they are adequately covered in the science and tech departments, no idea if they are in a position engineering wise to actually construct their own kilns should that ever be a road they go down, but we've already been told that Engsolve will be involved with future FEED etc etc with customers.
So again I'd suggest they are covered enough to have someone operate the pilot plant during commissioning.
Out of curiosity I looked at a local business which although not in the start up stage, is still in its early stages of growth having demonstrated it's product (it's recycling plastic to use to enhance bitumen as a binder)
It has 3 directors, one manufacturing site and a slightly lower head count than phe/Engsolve. So 3 directors v 5. Not that big a deal.
