i'll agree with you patx. quite simple though. if what was asked for is what they infact got and is the correct quality with the required performance then that's fine.

whilst you mention the pressure etc etc, if the chinese can make steel that can withstand everything the elements and physics can throw at it whilst being 100 floors high, then i'm sure a kiln is not beyond their capabilities. i'd imagine they use the same tech to check weld integrity etc as hans in germany, pat in port talbot or sam in s****horpe.

Material for kiln is high temp stainless steel. As long as it's specd for temp required. Don't know what phe have used but whether it 304, 309, 310 or another using (Chinese grading terminology) it will be comparable.

Hi Patx. I can only take you at your word so if that's the case, then that's the case. I'm not going to deny that there will be some companies / industries that insist on "West European" sourced steel. I'd also not be surprised however if some of that is actually sourced from China.

Offcourse there will be varying levels of quality in steel making, same as everything else. It's the rigour in the production and qa stages that matter. If it's good then it's good. Cheaper does not always mean poorer.

Interesting when you look at the table of steel producers, soon not be any western European mills possibly, what are left will be owned by Chinese and Indian outfits most likely anyways.

Fully agree Let1. I also think they pretend to be positive whilst actually using fear tactics to try and convince folk that it's a gamble not worth taking by their loaded questions.

None of us know, so there's no point in asking the bulletin board for the absolute correct answer.

We can all make assumptions based on our experience, knowledge, research etc etc etc.

At the end of the day you either believe phe tech and that there's a problem it can help solve, or you don't. If no then I'd say move on and use your energy on something more guaranteed. Like decarbonisation, reduced landfill, waste to energy...

We've all bought rubbish of ebay made in China for 50p. The kiln will not be made of the same low grade materials. Like some others are claiming, I to have been involved with manufacturing equipment made in China, and whilst it did not have the same quality as its Swiss / German counterparts, it performed exactly the same.

Just look at who is the main producer of cars these days, yup the Chinese. Also check the reliability compared to say a Range Rover. You don't always get what you pay highly for. SGS no their stuff.

Exactly Castle. Like I've said numerous times, kilns are not new tech. Engsolve I also agree would be more than capable (if they have / can source anything needed).

There's also the drawings for the original full size model somewhere that would simplify things. Don't know where these are presently, are they already at hand?

Possibly Patx, but I'm not quite looking at it as a pure gamble. There's a lot to the overall project which has already been done before and is proven tecnology/process etc.

Waiting on the results post commissioning whilst obviously carrying a lower risk, will however carry a much higher share price should things go to plan.

Perhaps we'll see things pick up soon enough in expectation. I'd rather be holding at today's price than trying to buy if and when they announce "it's all systems go"

It's a kiln, the difference is phe tech. SGS have been involved and were satisfied. I'd think it very unlikely that they've had it up and running and prove all which phe intend doing. That will come at the pilot plant.

That's why after watching every presentation, reading every document and looking through all the info available I fully expect phe sp to be much higher than 1.4p in the near future. How much higher I've no idea. But it's a huge marketplace looking for solutions where phe can possibly play a big part in.

Hello 15. Looking at their site and reading through it, exactly what their involvement is, is a bit open to interpritation.

I'm confused. Surely owning would suggest they are not just a spokesperson? The wording implies other?

Not sure we'll see 3p soon Espen, but what I do agree on is that regardless of the timing of NH funding, once pilot plant starts to progress and potential validation of process etc nears.......I'd expect the sp to react accordingly and 3p could easily be hit. I'd compare it with the O&G sector with sp reaction on spudding then the action whilst awaiting results. Expect lots of movement, all being well there's going to be a huge amount of interest going forward and with that the possibility and probability of a much higher price being hit. We'll all find out soon enough.
