His investment in polb has lost well over 50% of their mcap so he is not such a good benchmark, wouldn't you agree that this an emotionally detached point of view as well?

The only right thing to do is liquidate and return funds to shareholders. As I already thoroughly explained 2 years ago, polb001 is a dud. They just adopted an abandoned patent of a failed molecule that 100 other companies have their own versions of from when p38i were popular, 15-20 years ago.

Don't forget that Lindy had 6,840,633 shares transferred to her on appointment as CEO back in 2021 which she promptly sold at around 20p and banked over £1.4m.

I think we were all expecting an options award for Phil D'Hullier at some point and although the level is high, if that's what it took to recruit him then so be it. It will be interesting to check the annual report to see if that is the extent of his golden handshake or whether there was any cash element too. The point is though that it's really tough to recruit high level management in the bio sector, particularly when they're UK based. The coming 2 or 3 years are going to be crucial for Scancell and the need for a top quality experienced CEO has never been greater. Let's hope his performance lives up to expectations.
