And in the main AACR, where all sorts of stuff are presented (basic science mostly, small molecules, biologics etc) they were offer the exclusive stage where 5 companies presented cancer vaccines data, most of them major ones.

IO AACR is about, well IO. So ALL the presentations are about IO not just a special session. Yet they could not secure an oral presentation spot at a conference that is all about the field they operate in and with hell of a lot more potential spots they could have given them.

I said that last year, with less substantial data (in terms of confidence which is what matters in science) they gave them a more prestigious stage to present and they messed it up by presenting data from the previous year. Therefore only a poster this year even though they have more data.

Except it's not. A presentation validates nothing. Whether they upload the poster on their website in a timely manner will be more indicative on whether communication (and professionalism) has improved

Last year they were invited to present at a prestigious IO session at AACR, and they presented results from a year before. This year, with substantially more data and confidence, just a poster. This is what happens when one is unprofessional.
