I enjoy reading most posts on all the boards i'm following on LSE , except when it gets into schoolyard slanging , although occasionally I do like it when the participants both know its a complete waste of time and can see the funny side.
But like texting your wife , sometimes the meaning of the words gets lost in translation .

Anyway , in Farons case , it's easier to just sit back and let the SP do the talking .

He's seen some improvements in patients on the drug trials - but obviously need more results to confirm anything
Didn't seem too bothered about Trumps wonder drug though.
Does show that this trial is the quickest and best way to confirm a drugs effectiveness compared to standard FDA style trial.

The excitement about partners is partly down to the fact that it has been mentioned by Markku and in multiple RNS's over the last 6 months .
Ever since the speeding ticket we got in the Autumn that resulted in Faron denying any reason for rise , had them saying that partner discussions were still ongoing and likely to continue into the first quarter of 2020 .
This was about Clevegen
Then we have the RNS about Traumakine likely to be funded by third party or parties , and again Markku saying in interviews in Feb & March that funding would be third party , and pretty much wrapped up .

Joe , there isn't much info yet . It was teased at a presentation a month or so ago , the we got an RNS saying they had acquired the rights to a new invention from their boffin lab - a AC03 inhibitor . Not much flesh on that bone yet , but its another drug to combat vascular inflammation . There a bit in their latest presentation - in the same realm as Traumakine , so not a cancer drug like Clevegen .
Either way , its a drug to combat a universal problem that patients get with complications following renal / diabetic / vascular issues . Still early days - but good to know they have more just coming in the pipeline .
Plus it was discovered by the same team that provided Traumakine etc

Wolfie , yeah I understand what you're saying .
Sometimes I wake up thinking - have i convinced myself that this will work just because I want it to ?
I'm not a doctor , or a clinician - so can only go on the information out there on the web .
But we have done so much research on this board between us , and picked over all the evidence ourselves with a fine tooth comb looking for flaws in the story , and not come up with anything to really go against what Markku has ever said .
What I have realised is that Drug Marketing is a slow and complicated business , especially when you are dealing with life and death , not just cough syrup , and as Lew mentioned , often political and $ related .
We were all pretty excited about Clevegen and the Traumakine progress after Christmas , and £4 or £5 would have been pretty much the end game and sell out point for many back then ( me included).
But Covid 19 , and now the REMAP study has nudge Faron closer to the launch pad of truly bigger things .
The world has changed in 2 months

NCYT was 15p a few months ago , its £2.60 today .

NCYT . Glaxo and Astrazeneca.
Plus they got WHO emergency approval .

Similar but not identical to FARON , it shows that the small companies can join forces with the big guns and leap frog into the premier league

Still here TC , after all the excitement we are in a bit of Faron news vacuum . Lots going on in the virus world .
Not cross ramping , but the testing share I'm in ( in a small way ) has just signed a deal with two of the big pharmas and that is going to rise and rise .
I just can't wait for that to happen here , we just need to hold patiently .
I've seen it a few times here when good news is followed by a slow creeping SP fall , bit by bit , until you think the share has run out of puff , and its sitting there like a cold potato . So you sell a few ( like I did ) and get caught out when the train leaves for the next station .
Four times I sold some shares here , and three times paid more for them buying back in lol

Bought back in here on Thurs . Had joined the herd at £1 , saw some rises and falls and exited at £1 , just hadn't researched NCYT enough to be confident . But had to get back in last week as the progress just seemed unstoppable . and its proving so .

So much work continuing to be done with Traumakine behind the scenes , and nothing is surprising them any more .
The first REMAP feedback can't come back soon enough .
It will mean that lives will be saved already

Yes just saw that . Well REMAP has sites participating listed as Royal Berkshire hospital , and Tunbridge Wells , but I'm sure they will have increased that , as UK was well in on the trials .
Also the trial is partnered by Imperial College London , who specialise in ARDS cases
