Its crazy Oil . Nothing has changed since then apart from sentiment in the market ( on all stocks relating to Covid - even the ones selling stuff and making money ) . Traumakine hasn't failed any trials since then ( just failed to get on one ) . Clevegen has made more progress with expanded opportunities . Manufacturing partners established on both therapies .
The placing in April allowed them to crack on with both , whist still owning 100% .

That money went on :

At the time of that RNS , we weren't even talking about the WHO - it was all REMAP-CAP .
That has got to produce some results soon , surely some sort of update before Hibiscus kicks off .

Either way - everything is in place to start monetising these therapies . All we wait on is further data and approvals .

Faron have been around long enough , and have a savvy enough BOD and financial team - to know how to play this to their strengths . This is the exciting part now - the drugs are both well down the road towards approval . 100% owned and with a small number of shares - and even smaller free float , if successful - rewards will be significant . Thats why so many of us have held on through these somewhat rougher times , with the thought of what is just around the corner :-)

3rd Dec - minor change to the website page on Haematokine - they just added this sentence .

Haematokine is undergoing IND-enabling studies in preparation for its regulatory submission in 2021. Faron is exploring partnership opportunities with regenerative medicine players in the space.

Another small step to making 2021 a good year lets hope .

Just re-read the trial data , and look what showed up in the details -

Interferon ß-1a will be administered intravenously at the dose of 10 µg once daily for 6 days if oxygen dependent or subcutaneously at 44 ug Day 1, Day 3, and Day 6 .

They love the old subcutaneous injection the WHO .

Might as well forget this one - its like banging your head against a wall sometimes .

I can't be the only one who's been waiting months for GGP or EUA to have a good rerate so we could move a few funds from one to the other . Sods law , both go nuts on the same day . Some days you just can't win lol

Its these quiet days when you do wonder when its gonna come good .
I admit , the Piper presentation was a bit dry . But I think its a scientific get together , not a sales pitch .
It must be hard sometimes for Markku to remember how he comes across on camera , particularly when you are on a web cam in your office . He is a scientist . We as shareholders just want to hear news about partners , sales , approvals .
It will come - or some of it will . Traumakine has one shot at proving itself with Hibiscus , if REMAP doesn't get there first for us . Clevegen has so many possibilities , as a monotherapy or a combi therapy .
All we need is a few crumbs of progress and the SP will light up again .
But then again , if it stays low on no news , we can always top up . Not so profitable doing that after news .
I know I keep comparing is to SNG , but they've had a 65% drop from peak SP , on a great P2 trial and a £80 million investment . So our 50% drop is almost bearable given that it was just based on the vaccine knee jerk reaction , and WHO non event .
The market could probably screw us down to £1.80 if they wanted to . Everyone who knows about Faron has probably invested already . New investors at that price would be just opportunist day traders which is the last thing we want , ramping it up and down on twitter etc , or lucky new investors who find us just at the right time .
So as mentioned over the last few weeks , we just have to close the drawer , and do a jigsaw or something .
Hopefully we all have a few other shares that jump up and down ( ive certainly got a couple ) that keep us entertained while this one has a lull .

Good plan CW . They can muck about with SP as much as they want - but once news hits , thats it .
Just need to be patient . Until a partnership , EUA or some sort of results appear , lock the drawer .

Just watched the Piper presentation . usual stuff , but when asked about Hibiscus , he said all they were just waiting for was final FDA approval - expected any day and then they would be up and running . No mention of who was funding it , but it didn't seem like he was concerned about anything other than just getting the green light from the FDA .
FDA also wanted to discuss matters regarding Clevegen after the four first cohorts were given green light to expand up to the 30 patients . So all positive discussions it seems .
But i can understand those who see the road as long . Luckily we have a few stops along the way , one coming up soon with some Clevegen data . REMAP-CAP could pop out some data any day . and imminent Hibiscus approval would presumably reveal the funding mystery .

Its possible I suppose , they did include PI's in the placing at £1.09 ( I passed as SP was £1.02 at the time ) .
The last round at £3.49 wouldn't have helped us much either . These pharma shares sure are a double edged sword . You get AZN headlining across the world with a vaccine that Govts will order hundreds of millions of ( and already have) and the SP goes down 3% . It seems that the dream of success is more valuable than actual success ? Then you get one fart at the back of the class and the whole school gets closed down ( not sure if thats the best analogy but you get my drift) . Over the years the best place for a pharma share in my mind is in the bottom drawer . Read the RNS's , and then once a year open the drawer and see if it smells of money or farts . Hows that for investment advice lol

Had a chance to read the RNS slowly this evening . Not one of those RNS's that you can digest in 1 minute . Even had to google a few words to understand the meaning.
Ok - so not the jackpot RNS - but I would class this one as a very important and also interesting set of news .
If we are taking bexmarilimab as being the biggest opportunity for future wealth at the moment , and it isn't crucial you become a millionaire by Dec 24th , then this RNS gives us some real juicy insights into where it could all end up .
For starters , they are filling the cohorts nicely . 5 full , and the rest in between 50 and 90% . With all the disruption Covid is causing , that was never to be taken for granted this year . So thats good .
They also appear to be moving up the food chain when it comes to getting patients for these trials . Early bexmarilimab patients were often ones that had been through multiple therapies , and not really ideal for an immune system based therapy . Now , they are to trial bexmarilimab as a neoadjuvant therapy in colorectal and kidney cancer patients . I had to google neoadjuvant ( basically a pre treatment - before surgery , like chemo or hormone therapy ) . So they should get some fairly clear results , unfettered by other treatments the patients may have already had .
Now also - we see bexmarilimab will be trialled as a combi therapy in lung cancer for the first time - where the current best treatments are generally 70% unsuccessful .
The FDA have approved 2 more cohorts - for higher dosage and higher frequency , as it may be even more effective . I remember early phase trials showed that lower doses seemed to work fine , so thats what they went with - and at 2-3 week intervals . But as trials have progressed , biomarkers shave shown the possible benefits of dosing at weekly intervals . This should be welcomed , as obviously patients can hopefully handle the more frequent dosings , and you will get a finding or a successful treatment shown quicker - a benefit for all .
Lastly , we have another tie in with Farons newest line of research , heamatological cancers and leukemia etc . Further studies as a combi treatment . The further they get with bexmarilimab , the more cancers they discover it may have a usefulness with .
Ok , so no sponsor or partner news today , but this is a great collection of updates that just build more foundation and possibilities for the future of this drug . Its all good news .
For those wanting the maximum benefit long term with this share , a placing would be a good thing . I don't like using the word , but we are on the cusp of making some big discoveries in these P2 trials . Faron will have a plan on how they want to play it , and I have full trust in the BOD .

No sponsors until they see some P2 data . Looks like 4 cohorts are full , and Markku said we will see some topline data in Q4 . So presumably from one or more of those 4 .
Not the juicy RNS we wanted , but at least it shows that they are confident enough with the way things are looking to be expanding into further areas to try the therapy .

Of the cohorts in Part II, uveal melanoma, ovarian cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, and cholangiocarcinoma are now fully recruited and the rest, between 50-90 per cent recruited.

So I guess we know which ones we will see any topline data from first .
Uveal should be exciting , as that has the patients enrolled who have a healthier immune system in general as they have not been under many ( if any ) previous treatments that would compromise them .
