More optimal conditions for those day trading tbh.... and a somewhat nauseating roller coaster for us LTH's watching the screen flip flop from deep Red to blue in little more than the time it takes for a tweet/truth social post to go from being posted to hitting the global media!

Definitely nice seeing SSPG rising. 100% agree there! It's of course entirely possible I may have missed the opportunity to have bought up more here at around the recent floor price of ~137p. Maybe this doesn't retrace and only goes up from here onwards?! I'm convinced this stock will do well overall, hence my staying the distance. However, I had my target buy price in mind, it didn't reach that point and so I held off from buying further tranches. Possibly I might come to regret that, possibly not?! Interested to know your view Horsey? Have I missed the boat on snaffling up cut priced SSPG shares here?

For total clarity, I've never sold any of my SSPG shares here since I first became invested. I've only made purchases here.

Absolutely not HorseyOne - I've accumulated a decent investment here thus far and I don't short stocks in any case, much too risky for my shallow pockets (compared to those who trade CFD's with much deeper pockets than I) - Just being realistic on where I view the market as going, I don't think the budget turbulence is close to being over and done with yet. I agree AimMaster2018 - the UK inflation news release appears to have given traders moments for a short pause... However, with macro fundamentals still very poor I think the sell off will easily resume and may even accelerate in pace a little. I think markets are a long way yet from the floor on this correction! DYOR - IMO

UK inflation news appears to have injected a little respite for the SP. I think it'll be short lived, expecting further falls later on and into tomorrow, new low for the SP this week I reckon and possible down into the high 120's by COP Friday too.

Which is the reason I'm content to hold here 👍 - If there is a bid for SSPG I should easily see my average SP exceeded... my money and some profit returned.

Though I'd much rather this stays listed, and does not get taken private 🤞

The signs have been there for a while & IMO EZJ likely to head sub 400p, as I said my reasoning before (too many assumptions of growth - too few have been concerned about cumulative damage from rising input costs & those overly high ticket prices upom customers who frankly havent been seeing sufficient income rises for that level of pricing to be sustained).

Deflation incoming, Bailey should have cut rates at the MPC - behind the curve yet again!

Agree Davethehorse - As I'd mentioned before, when I said my view was that we would be seeing a new low here.

Personally, I remain confident in the business itself. However, I can understand & hugely empathise with those LTH's committed, and yet suffering at the minute through watching their investment being devalued by the market. As I said before, I'm holding and I will buy some more... for a keen price though and we're not there yet.

FTSE 250 down nearly 1.5% and not even 8.30am yet... a punishing day ahead IMO 😬 - as I can't imagine anything news wise which could help rally the market. I'm fully expecting shorters to maintain maximum pressure even beyond the budget, as tbf its set to be a brutal one. Rally might not occur until BoE Dec interest rate decision at the next MPC 🤷‍♂️

As said before, I dont work for shorters. I'm a private investor and I dont open short positions either. I only buy long holds (owning stocks, not trading CFD's).

If I had deeper pockets mind then I'd short CPI for sure 👌- as I think its now really going to come under significant fiscal pressure.
