Agreed Maverick - the inaugural divd last year was certainly conservative, (8 x covered by eps) whilst being accompanied by the statement that the BoD was keen to announce the maiden payment as the commencement of a 'sustainable' divd policy henceforth.

Ergo, Thursdays results should see the 3p distribution at least maintained, if not increased to, say, 4p ps, if the eps outcome is broadly the same in the event (24p ps) which would still be handsomely covered (6 x) so, unless there is a meaningful disappointment to be announced, I'd expect to see that being confirmed, at least - sasa.

I agree with that summation, Trek - often the first production efforts encounter such 'teething troubles' but these are now being urgently addressed and so the Q2 results should see us back on track as the RNS indicated. Also getting ever closer to 'Zone 8' which should further boost sentiment, if it's a prolific as they hope for.

Meanwhile, the low AISC of $787 per oz remains a major plus here and even if this increases somewhat over the year, the near $900 per oz gross margin is a considerable attraction for the full Y/E outcome. And if the gold price recovers further by then, well...

I've been in NCYT for about a year now and have found most posts very informative from the many serious contributors on here and have overlooked the dross / silly commentaries from some others, without any difficulties. I rarely post on here as my expertise, such as it is, is much more mkt orientated than anything else but I've found the information gleaned from multi - various sources very useful, so thanks to those who've provided it over time.

Yes, that's intriguing, TDT - agreed. I've long thought that Norilsk would be a prime contender to get involved with Amur, either via a J/V or acquisition, given the advantage of being the leading domestic and with no ownership probs of the entire in the latter case.

Hi Amur T - points taken but trying to involve the Russian Authorities might well incite domestic parties wishing to acquire AMC to use the implication of being 'unfit for purpose' (e.g. not qualified to develop KM) as a reason to wrest control of it for their purposes. Jeopardising the mining licence, unwittingly, by your actions might just give them such an opportunity.

So, be careful what you wish for is all I'm saying. Send any serious complaints to AMC first and if no satisfaction is forthcoming, then advise them of your intention to contact the FCA for them to investigate your grievances and wait for them to come back to you - that's the correct procedure to adopt.

Like Henners and many other LTHs on here, I've been sittin' / waitin'/ hopin' for over 10 years now and don't relish the prospect of even more events complicating matters which might possibly invite suspension or something worse, after all this time.

Your posts on here Amur T have always been useful to read until now. Your latest inclination is quite daft, I have to say; any complaints, however understandable, should be directed to the FCA who oversee governance issues on UK listings.

You always have the option to sell and remove the equity risk but if that doesn't appeal, given the potential here, even now, then hold on in the hope that a more realistic value will be realised at some point.

I call it 'aggressive inactivity' when the sp bears no relation to what a share is potentially worth and thus sitting tight is all that's called for. In a situation like this, the real gravy awaits the patient - seen it many times before; only if the fundamentals deteriorate is a reconsideration called for.

Hi gwm - sorry to learn of your probs / prospective loss in IG closing out contracts. I never get involved with these spread betting / CFD merchants myself because of the third party risks involved as we see here; not that that helps you and ors in this position, unfortunately.

At least as a direct holder of the equity, you're a part owner of the Co. which is risky enough on AIM these days without any additional concerns...

As for my view on where we are now with this situation, you've really answered your own question - no positive communications to speak of / missed timelines / little direction to assist us and having to rely on guesswork accordingly much of the time - hardly anything to shout about.

However, the major deposit is the main draw, of course (with more to discover yet, I've no doubt, if and when funding can be arranged) - it's fortunate that what we do have is the more desirable stuff (nickel sulphide & copper primarily) with EV / battery demand growing apace and one can only hope that somebody will develop this discovery even if our BoD can't arrange to monetise it.

Meanwhile, we just continue to sit and wait... sasa.
