Can understand that, given their 1st gold pour is coming up this month, post the succession of outstanding drilling results this year and now confirmation of their inclusion in Canada's SGDXJ index which should see the sp make further progress next week.

As for POLY, I'd expect a decent divd hike with their next results; assuming gold continues its recovery, this FTSE 100 stock should pick up sharply from here - both shs offer better than average prospects, imv and represent a good combo in these conditions I'd say...

One's investment propensity is as all about your own temperament as much as anything else, especially where 'go, go' stocks like this one on AIM is concerned. Until we see the latest figures (likely Jan) it's impossible to gauge whether the shs will re - rate further from here, so I'd suggest that you do a good deal more research first ( studying Shaun's splendid compendium will likely be sufficient) and then decide the way ahead for you, pre the results.

If you wish to proceed, you might want to consider only committing half your 'pot' into it pre - release of the Nos next month and then you can better gauge whether to average up or down or sell afterwards in accordance with what you make of them / the mkts general reaction, etc.,

The NRR loan holding is a convertible prior charge, so as profits from NRR's Iron ore shipments increase, so should the sp and thus the equity element held reflect that over time. Hopefully, though, AMC will soon be sought after in its own right, post the TEO and further 'developments' arising therefrom but don't ask what shape or form they might take - 'tis anyone's guess, as always, right now! - sasa.

Hi Shaun - ah, yes, the Poseidon bubble in late '69 / 70. I remember it well, as I was on the Stock Exchange trading floor at the time and the sp went from around 250p (in today's money) when the rush started and over six months or so, it got to £124 bid but not offerred at the peak!

Have high hopes our baby here will eventually prove to be a real winner, too but not, I suspect, quite as awesome as that. Half that performance will do nicely, though! - sasa.

It ties in with DL's recent comments made in a couple of vids. that "We'll tap the high grade ore first which will then finance mining the lower grade stuff later on". Their idea of 'lower grade' ore is ironic in that the 4% cut off mentioned is generally higher than others' 'high grade' material!

Then there's the possible 'mother lode' high grades in 'Zone 8' to get into next year (they're about halfway down so far, I think) so much to look forward to here - sasa.

I see that AA is now into Kistos, hoping to emulate his RRE success and he might well have SQZ in his sights, who knows? If that notion gathers traction, there's even more reason to hold 'this baby' - it might well spur MF and TCW to hasten their own acquisition plans, too, after quite some time looking around for the right deal to bring us back into the 'spotlight' - that would be nice, too! - sasa.

Hi gwm - BRWM's only 33% in gold miners / the rest in base metals where Iron ore, copper, etc., have been strong counters.

The gold price has probably suffered from JPM having to sell quite a lot of the stuff to offset their recent $3bn+ fine for manipulating the AU price and, although profits have probably been taken because of this and the fixation on vaccine shs at present, the case for shielding oneself from the continued erosion of fiat money is stronger than ever in today's climate, imv.

AMC and HZM are both awaiting their respective events; AMC (TEO) and HZM their financing package details - they should start to pick up again when confirmed. The rising Ni price will only enhance their appeal to advantage...

Haven't really looked into GGP, after I saw that they don't fully own their acreage from what I remember; being reliant on Newcrest (is it?) doesn't really inspire confidence but then, I don't know much about the details / risks on this score for them really.

Can't own them all... But good luck with it, anyway - sasa.
