Hi gwm - I only hold two 'goldies' right now - POLY and Pure Gold (PUR), fwiw...

Both are quality plays, imv - the FTSE constituent should please with their next figs. and I anticipate a good boost in the divd to accompany them to put the shs yielding around 5% at todays price of 1600p.

PUR commences its 'first gold pour' next month which should boost their sp, given their forecast of producing 100k ozs p.a henceforth and with their low AISC of under $800 per oz. the gross margin on sales of $1,000 per oz. should see their revenues rising sharply thereafter.

Happy with the 'steady eddie', BRWM, for income purposes mainly and I'd expect the gold price to move ahead again soon. Just my take at this stage, fwiw - sasa.

That's a good history there, cowboy, with which I agree. You mention that the 2018 drilling results were sort of released (I must have missed that for some reason) but not included in the PFS (agreed) - I thought that they were even better than the good 2017 drilling figs. but, maybe, I'm just getting a bit muddled after all this time in it? Nice appraisal there, Shadow; I'd just add that AMC's 'Certificate of discovery' entitles them to everything they 'find and mine' on the property and, although they relinquished part of their licensed acreage a while ago now, they have the right to retrieve it, if required, I believe.

That earlier 'this part no longer required' decision was subsequently explained by their later statement when they ceased drilling after the 2018 results were in - "We have enough now" - the inference being that those 2018 drilling results must have been very impressive yet never released even now, for some reason but the TEO will include them - sasa.

The offer was heavily oversubscribed, we're told, so what are the Instos going to do now with that nasty loss on their books as their trading year draws to a close? Hold or buy more to usefully average down?

After last night's webinar which was very impressive, I thought, they're very likely to average down, surely, so I'd expect to see a steady rally in the sp from here - sasa.

Apparently, harry, DL deferred the webinar because he was still in Red Lake and last time the reception from there was awful, so he's put it off for a week to avoid the problem recurring.

Not being a 'medico' at all, I look at this sector as being at the centre of fighting this pernicious virus - yes vaccines will / should come into their own soon but, for now, testing and therapy treatments are the 'front line', imv.
With NCYT we have the 'gold standard' in the former category quite clearly and awareness of its growing reputation can only accelerate in this climate to major advantage. As for the latter grouping, Synairgen, looks streets ahead in its field, too - just needs their phase 3 trial outcome to confirm what phase 2 revealed and SNG should be substantially re-rated in short order, too, imv.

Having spent a good bit of time researching both sectors, I reckon these two are the 'best in class' where they reside and I'm just sitting on my holdings in them as the best two 'bug fighters' I've found to date and thus warrant proper investment (ergo, not fussed about short term sp movements) as quality almost invariably outs in the end.

'Aggressive inactivity', I call it, until we have a better idea how much these two Cos are really worth eventually; don't post much on either bb but just my take for now, fwiw - sasa.

Agreed, WYTT - I think there's a good chance these 2018 drilling results might well boost our resource to around the 2m tonnes Ni equiv. mark when they're released within the TEO.

The implication was they were even better than 2017's impressive outturn at the time, I recall, so we should soon know how good they were, although it remains a mystery why they've been withheld for so long... sasa.

Confirming a 25% increase in reserves at Kyzyl is impressive and should see the sp push through the £20 level quite easily if AU continues it latest upturn - sasa.

Agree Intrepid - 'diagnostics', per se, is the likely place to be longer term, given the greater requirement covering more diseases in future and attendant therapies required...

Synairgen (SNG) might be a good fit in the latter regard to augment NCYT's testing supremacy before too long (post a successful phase 111 outcome for them) and yes, I'm in both, so have to confess to a 'cross - ramp' here of sorts but it seems very plausible to me to widen the scope of NCYT's range of products if GM has such notions in mind? - sasa.

Agree that fiat is being debased steadily, ROCKON but crypto being a better beneficiary than gold?
I don't think so; it's been the immutable unit of exchange for 6,000 years or more and has always maintained its buying power over the long term.

Crypto, on the other hand, has been around for five minutes in comparison; is man made and prone to subterfuge accordingly, quite apart from the risk of losing your password / the internet being disrupted to part you from usage and if the 'millennials' favour it over gold, that's because they don't have any experience of life / rarely any sense of history, etc., unfortunately.

Put another way, if we're in for a collapse of the economic system as we know it and we all wind up in a soup kitchen queue, who gets the gruel first? Those with a fistful of bitcoins to their name or those with gold glinting in their hand? I'll leave that with you - sasa.

That's quite a re-rate evaluation post a successful phase 111 / regulatory approval outcome; I only have two 'bug fighters' amongst my stuff in this weird world we're all in now - this one and NCYT - the most appealing duo amidst a raft of 'wannabes' as far as I can reasonably research / determine.

Despite their sp gyrations, both have substantial potential in this worrying climate, imv.

It's been done many times before (selling on only to buy back in later once the scheme has been approved) - ergo, the sp should rebound sharply after issuance on 4th November. Not bothered about it myself, given the potential here...
