Hopefully, we'll get the R3 update out shortly, too, as the Y/E approaches and 100% BKR revenues to enjoy from January onwards. A return to 240p and more, in the absence of anything else, looks a solid prospect to me - sasa.

Of all the base metals sought after in this increasingly demanding climate, I reckon that Ni and Cu are the most appealing, hence my involvement here and in ATYM; both affording the most potential in their respective fields, I'd say - sasa.

Before we're into enjoying 100% BKR revenues which should grab some media attention, given the dramatic impact upon our earnings at these exalted energy price levels, quite apart from a likely update on Rhum 3 output and Columbus getting underway between now and then.

I'd be very surprised if Mitch / ACW don't put out a very positive RNS on the BKR 'clearance' especially, to give the sp a boost back to the 240p level and beyond. Any group eyeing up Serica would probably wish to see these things confirmed first with 2022 being an exceptional year in the making for SQZ anyway, whether or not they surprise with a deal of their own making - sasa.

Just like last time when somebody (platform workers / insiders?) knew of the Columbus connection delay before the mkt had news of it and made a few bob as the sp retreated quite markedly afterwards, we might see a sharp rally ensue shortly by the reverse token.

That's what I'm looking for to counter the present malaise just ahead of the confirmatory RNS once again unless Mitch is right on the ball this time which will prompt an overdue rally, anyway.

Thoughts should then focus on all the positives once more; just sayin'... sasa.

Hi Maverick - I can only conclude that much of the fine words emanating from COP 26 are just that; placating all the activists clamouring for 'action now' before it's too late.

Yes, there's clearly a pressing need to reduce fossil fuel emissions henceforth but you can't just 'stop the world' like that - the chaos would be incalculable. The 'going green' transition is gaining traction all the time, anyway but all the building of alternative power generation to achieve that laudable goal still requires fossil fuel energy to build it out at this stage and will need to do so for quite some time yet.

C'mon NewK - that's a bit harsh. Had Serica immediately announced the short delay re: Columbus starting to produce, the sp would have fallen anyway there and then in reaction to it. Whether that would have been more or less than what we've seen to date is anybody's guess.

As we're still on for production to commence, albeit a bit later in Q4, little has been lost, so it's pretty academic now anyway. Serica's potential / appeal remains unaffected by this 'storm in a tea cup' so I'm not bothered by it; such things happen from time to time - sasa.

Given the slight delay before Columbus starts producing but still in Q4, the slight shortfall in its anticipated contribution this year is not significant - what 2022 will look like is much more important and exciting, of course, with everything coming together in a climate of such high oil & gas prices. Everything to play for here...

This rapid fall in the sp, given the absence of a NS 'windfall tax' on the oil & gas companies in the Budget, (and that was a plausible risk beforehand) suggests that the Columbus commencement of its contribution to Serica's overall production might be delayed for some reason - that's all I can think of to explain it.

If that isn't the case when the RNS confirm is to hand, then the shorting / selling going on now will prove a costly 'bull trap' for those involved - the outlook for Serica is far too positive when it's 'tied in' with all the other positives upcoming, near term - sasa.

Hi graking - it's 550,000 inc. the restricted share units; not huge in relation to the float, I agree but that's not the point; such LTIP inducements are usually set to incentivise Directors to achieve prospective price targets over the stated time frame - none of that here, as TDT says.

Ergo, a douche on sentiment which these impressive drill results could have otherwise engendered would have been nice for a change - sasa.
