Hi CCC - thanks for this encouraging synopsis of what appears to be forthcoming fairly soon; your interpretation of recent announcements / anticipations for optimism seem perfectly reasonable to me.

AV's 'hype', witting or otherwise, over the 'dozen or more unsolicited parties expressing an interest in partnering with us' in an RNS a year ago now, led to understandably heightened expectations by shareholders and to say now that we've been 'fixating' over this upcoming revelation is a bit 'rich', tbh, since he fostered the notion, after all...

AIM stocks are primarily driven by sentiment, as we all know and this long delay, now attributable to a 're-hash' of the development strategy, apparently, has been the prime reason behind the steady decline of the sp this past year.

Moreover, several posters on here, including me, have been mystified by the persistent selling of shares since then by a party / parties unknown which has merely exacerbated matters in seeing the sp some 50% lower today than hitherto.

Notwithstanding the reasons behind the somewhat friendless support for the shs of late, let's hope renewed optimism swiftly returns once tangible evidence that the 'new era', which the partnering announcement should encompass, bolsters our confidence for a change; we all look forward to that, I'm sure! - sasa.

Have seen many of these rational counter arguments to the growing 'climate change' mantra espoused by the establishment; there are always two sides to every debate but when one side is continually 'snuffed out' in airing their views on the matter, I get very suspicious of an agenda behind it. Investing in anything involved with the UK NS henceforth is foolhardy now with Labour poised to emasculate our domestic O&G production, unless Starmer / Miliband see sense at the eleventh hour - a long shot, to be sure!

Serica has been almost negligent in not addressing this forthcoming impediment to their prospects so far, unlike Harbour who've already done something substantial about it in reducing their involvement here; post the Wintershall Dea deal, they're about 50/50 overseas now, so no chance they'd go against that in acquiring Ithaca - sasa.

Agreed, raxfactor - DL's latest indictment of Labour's prospective, hugely injurious, NS energy policy as things stand, surely indicates the new team taking over next week will do something about it at last.

If an overseas deal is close to being undertaken, given the £1b borrowing facility already in place + their own cash, etc., such an announcement would really galvanise our sp from today's bargain basement level.

However, that Serica is and has been significantly undervalued for quite a while now, reflects the pedestrian management since ACW ceded control with Serica's total preoccupation being developing its NS assets, regardless of the increasing political risks in doing so.

That would have been fine if the tax regime hadn't been increased so much recently to materially undermine the appeal of this approach today, yet nothing has been done yet to address this and an even greater hostile approach towards domestic energy production being introduced by the idiotic Ed, the muppet, Miliband, assuming Labour gets in.

Until this blinkered approach is remedied (hopefully, the new BoD will shortly instigate a 'sea change' in direction) Serica will remain 'dirt cheap' for that reason, precluding any sentiment change, I fear... sasa

Notwithstanding your critique on the PM, Terry, he and the Conservatives are now a spent force and Labour's a dead cert to form the next government.

It'll be interesting to see whether David Latin's staunch criticism of Labour's idiotic energy policy and the new CEO taking office next week amounts to anything other than just rhetoric - steering Serica away from its present vulnerability to Ed Miliband's crazy ambition to kill off the UK's domestic energy industry is the 'elephant in the room' here.

Hi TDT - yep, we were both hoping Horizonte would be very successful, given their steady progress, large Instos on board, etc., yet disaster ensued through deception, as we all know now; at least, Andrada is already producing a growing output of tin / some lithium and tantalum with cash to keep going, for now, anyway.

Was hoping Andrada would recoup much of that painful experience, given where they are today but AV's earlier 'hype' over all the partnering interest in them looks misplaced after today's RNS. They could still deliver but it's going to take longer than we were led to believe, unfortunately - hence this morning's sp reaction - sasa.
