Must say just lately I have noticed they have gone downhill at my local store in Burnham-on-Sea. I use the store approx. 3 times a week and have noticed for a while now the shelves are empty in places and the quality and size of the fresh veg has been a disgrace (something I emailed head office about). Has anyone else noticed the prices of many items are staring to creep back up ?? I know they have to make profits, but if they continue in the same vain as of late then I will have to shop at either Tesco, Lidl, or Asda to see how they compare. Having read in yesterdays Sunday paper that it is expected Morrison will announce up to 25% drop in profits soon then it looks like other people have maybe noticed the same as myself. Shame really as I have been shopping in the store from when it was a Somerfield Store.

Yes managed to sell at 218.86p the other day and bought back today at 212.785p into the ISA (last buy of the day) therefore approx net saving of £78.65p should I had let the Broker Bed & ISA the transactions. Maybe a little to soon though after seeing the RNS that was released after close of business tonight. Oh well, I hadn't bought back for a quick profit anyway. May add more should we test 200p again.

Had my 52 Free Share Certificate and a £44-77p Divi now. Decided now to put the share certificate with my original customer IPO share certificate (1040 shares) into my ISA account with H/L. Unfortunately share certificates cannot be credited into the ISA account and must be settled in an ordinary trading account first I was told. This process took Hargreaves 2 weeks to action and for the shares to “settle”. Hargreaves would then sell them from the ordinary account and buy them back in the ISA account, so a couple of trading fees and a bid / offer spread to take into consideration costing approximately £35 / £40 to do the complete transaction. What a con, so managed to sell them myself last week at 218.86p and will buy them back in the ISA myself this coming week and will have saved myself the total transaction fees (assuming I buy back at less than 215.57p)

Yes indeed Bonz1957, sorry I didn't make that clear. Done that before, write something and press the "post" button, and then when you re-read it you realize you have omitted to write a qualifying statement. Anyway, both the wife and myself have got some free shares coming.

For those of us who took part in last years IPO, then if we are still holding those shares at close of business today, we qualify to collect the free shares incentive - 1 free share for every 20 shares still held.

IPO price was 185p and the highest the sp has achieved since then is 192.4p

Had an email from Saga Shareholder Services this morning advising if I still hold my IPO shares (which I do) at 29th May then I have entitlement to the 1 - 20 bonus shares. The free shares will be added to my holding on or by 05th June, and a share certificate will be despatched to me on 17th June 2015.

"The only question is why the sale?" - not the only question as "Who is Selling" is another question. It's gotta be a fund or an Insti with a sell that size. Maybe an RNS informing us next week as 15M represents approximately just under 2% of the companies shares in issue, so has to be a bigger % of whoever's holding that sold it, therefore a notifiable transaction !!

Well that's a drop of 22.5% in a week, and I still believe there is profit to be made here, but I think it may be prudent to see if we get another RNS this week explaining the drop before adding to my holding. Just done a dummy buy before the close and could have bought for 15.8p

Richard Griffiths may have had a good reason to sell out his 70M+ holding - re 01st December RNS, and I don't expect Mt Woodford is very happy at this moment !!

Proposed placing of new Ordinary Shares at a price of 19p per share to raise approximately £20 million. --- I thought we were going to see a placing soon as the "cash in the bank" was quite low for a company developing new products. That's why you could Buy shares at less than "mid" price recently.

I applied online and as I applied for shares of value less than £10,000, I received a pro-rata amount. I understand that anyone who applied for more than £10,000 worth of shares did not get any at all. I eventually got my share certificate through the post several weeks later as I did not elect to have them held in the Saga Shareholder Account. Hope that may help

Well guys I've decided to join you for the journey after doing some research, albeit not so much as I should have done. I liked the story, and feel there is plenty of potential. I note the company has made positive progress over the past 12 months, but the market has brought the SP back down into the region it was 12 months ago !! As has been said here already, 2015 could be an interesting year for the SP, so let's hope a couple of grand invested here, (sorry this is aim, so invested should read gambled), will produce a bigger increase than if left in a cash savings account with the banks / building societies. Yes, us "loyal retail" customers (as the company put it) are already 13% down in our support of the listing price in just over four and a half months !! - I had bought some more (171.24) just before results but managed to sell them just after results announced before we fell over the cliff and only lost £17 - how lucky was that. I do think Saga will come good however, but we shall have to wait until next year and see what divi they are going to pay. Maybe try and catch the bottom here to offset those bought at the IPO price.

So Tuesday 30th September is when the company has stated they will announce their first set of results since they have listed on the stock market last May. As one of this years IPO minority of non performers, let's hope they announce something to give the SP a boost. From memory I think they had said they also hope to give their shareholders a nice divi - not long to wait then. GLA

Sent the question to Hargreaves in writing - looks like I was being fobbed off by the "help desk" as here is a reply already, so why couldn't they tell us this in the first place in our offer letter........................................................................... Not 100% sure if I am working this out right, but I have been on an £ to aus$ exchange rate page today and that is saying 1 Aussie dollar equals 55.57p (English pence). My calculations make this Rights Issue offering of 1 new share at aus$0.005 to equal 0.2779 pence each..............................So why is H.L. offering me shares in this Rights Issue at 0.35p each ? Just rang them and asked them and they say it's all to do with the exchange rate !! Better to wait and buy them at a cheaper rate off the market when the company list again, or am I missing something - anybody !!
