Hi menobark, yes, I was colloquially making a comparison to a 2/3 year Fixed Rate bond, meaning if we buy and hold these shares for a 2/3 year period without selling them, (if you had a fixed rate bond then you couldn't touch that investment for that period of time), then hopefully we will end up getting a better return on what we spent on these shares, in comparison with if we had invested the same amount of money into the Bond. The Bond would be a guarantee return though, where as the shares could make us a loss, but hopefully they will make us a bigger gain.
