Consolidation and New Shares issue24 Jun 2023 15:38
Shaun has stated that he would like to consolidate the shares at some time, but only when the share price is climbing. As this isn’t happening at the moment, then taking Shaun at his word, I can’t see it happening before the ASX listing, unless very positive news is forthcoming.
I can’t see good news coming before the ASX listing as he will want to send a positive message to people buying in down there, that they are onto a winner. So MRE, excellent drill results on Ruddall or Scallywag will come shortly after in my opinion.
Coming to the issue of shares when the ASX lists. Shaun has stated that it had been considered, but left it open whether to raise funds or not. As a result the markets have decided by taking the sp down to around 6.5p.
I know Shaun wants to get the Australian institution’s on board and from what he has said they want to invest. Therefore there should be no problem with them buying in the market, same as the Van Ecks of this world. Their buying would cause the sp to rise and we would all be happy.
We do not need further funding at this time, so why consider a share issue? At this price you are diluting current shareholders substantially for no reason. Unless the Australian institutions are the ones who gave us the bank loans and are now being given a backhander paid with cheap shares!
Unless Shaun has a good reason to issue more shares at 5his moment, then I will continue to vote against the ASX listing.
