Guys this is not surprising and happens everytime! Ignore the people shouting ridiculous share price figures by the end of the day as its not going to happen. Many will undoubtedly be top slicing and some completely selling to buy back cheaper, which seems to have paid off as they will buy back in with an additional 10% shares based on current price drop. The RNS was excellent and continues the derisk exercise on this investment. If you are a true LTH then this will have no bearing on what you believe the company is worth. I believe that yesterdays results have almost confirmed that this is a Tier1 mine and so the SP is still incredibly cheap. Expect Numis Broker note change soon

A formal bid is price sensitive, so should have an RNS providing confirmation. I very much doubt a bid is on the table for GGP, but who knows in this crazy world

Its pretty obvious that the MMs are hoovering up as many shares as they can on the cheap so that they are prepared for news which should be with us around 22:30 tonight. I expect the afternoon to surge as the MM's try to hoover up the 10% profit makers from today in preparation. Its been done countless times on this share and it will continue to happen in the future. As mentioned in my earlier post, don't worry about the share moves today and even tomorrow, as i believe this share will double by the end of the year. I advise nervous holders to read the historic RNS again and take a look at Paddy posts providing detail on new drill locations. If after this research you still believe the value of all the projects owned by GGP is worth 300mil then i suggest selling up.

First purchase made 2.5 years ago for 1.82p and have gradually bought up the stack to an average price of 3.19p. Holding 780k shares and am together with you guys on the journey. Don’t worry about what the share does tomorrow or the day after that as it will pale into insignificance compared to what this share price will do with a conservative maiden resource estimate in a few months time. If it’s as big as indicated we could be looking at a higher than expected estimate

Guys take a breather , have a nice breakfast and relax. The fundamentals have not changed since yesterday and will be the same tomorrow before Newcrest news. The share price movement shouldn't matter at all if you are invested in here, as we all know that the dream of a tier 1 mine is as realistic today as it has ever been. In my opinion selling a day before news doesn't make sense but I understand people want to take their profit.

For what its worth i believe that the share price will remain in this trading range today and will spike to 9.5 - 10p tomorrow on anticipation of news, perhaps even before close today. The news provided will give us further clarity on how big this beast really is and that should nudge Numis to reassess broker note. I struggle with some of the numbers banded around as i cant see an mcap above £1bn anytime soon, but i hope to be corrected.

I have been a long term holder since pre Newmont days when the share price was suffering and was devastated but not surprised when Newmont walked. As you can see i don't post much but do enjoy reading the board, even if some posts are fantasy. I think a lot of people overlook one key thing when they are highlighting the brilliance of GGP and that is Gervais Heddle. For all new investors i urge you to prioritise listening to the updates that Gervais makes and compare him to other AIM Directors. He never promises the world and always has shareholder value in mind. He was the only director to notice the market nose diving and bought shares out of his own pocket to reduce the impact on GGP. My personal view is that Newcrest will table a bid for the final 30% of the license and continue a first refusal for JV on other GGP projects such as Scally.

Never post but am too excited

If you read the report, compare the results of Hav 6 extension and HAV 11 against their other exploration sites, which Newcrest state are encouraging! Not even close gradient and depth wise. Add to that use of existing infrastructure at Telfer and you have GGP being reported first....world class .

So who is up for buying this profit generating company and making it a shareholder owned company. If the majority of this board can do a better job than Colin (Not hard, a lamp post could do a better Job) then the collective need to get together, vote no confidence in BOD, request to view data, generate some capital (Crowd fund or seek institutional investors), stick in lowball offer, agree on a CEO who can run this from an office in Slough, take the monthly profit and pay dividends or develop the field.....
