Tom. Thanks just looked at that on the presentation and made sense. So if i were Newcrest then snapping up the whole license before stage 4 would be in my best interest financially. They may be in a position where 30% in 12/24 months time will be less appealing (Financially) than a halt to JV post MRE and an offer for the 30% at the estimate (Plus some on top)?

Agreed. It will be interesting to see what Market Value looks like on 5% of whatever we have. Am i right in thinking that the 5% will be at Market Value, which will based on the MRE? Is there a concern that if the MRE is low then 5% will be a well short of what we should be getting? Or does 5% option come when we have a more advanced estimate?

Thanks Morningsun, an actual debate around options available rather than open and shut statement. I think that it will be down to the situation at the time and what GGP's risk appetite is at that point. They may decide to keep partial or all of the 30%, or they may want to sell all and develop other licenses for future JV Either way its a very nice headache to have :)

Thanks Timber. Was intrigued to know whether anybody had conflicting views on GGP remaining an explorer. It will be interesting to see what options are discussed further down the line, and more importantly what the climate looks like.

Completely agree. I think companies get into a whole world of trouble when they change strategy from something that is working well. GGP need to remain an explorer and retain some royalty position to help future working with Newcrest. Exciting times though

I think GGP will be around, but with 1 less license :). I think they will JV on Scally with Newcrest, as that modus operandi seems to work

A lot of people on the board have talked about Scallywag being the next project, which was also mentioned in the RNS. However, if GGP decide to convert to being a miner and retain 30% / 25% of Hav then they may decide to look to develop their other projects such as Firetower in order to make the license more appealing for sale on to another junior. This will allow more capital to be pumped into GGP % of the Mine start up costs. Just a thought?

Magictrades that would be great. Really interested to know the formation and what the impact is on Mining. Does it make mining more complex for example?

Lets hope that the big investors got in and are calling brokerages as we speak :)

If this is a presentation to the city folk then the presentation will probably be near completion as time needs to be given for analysts to digest before market opens.

Noticed somebody asked about access to the investor briefing on Wednesday, but haven't seen a response. Can somebody confirm how to register for Wednesday as i only see the presentation slides on the website. Assume its a simple contact the company via email?

I'm absolutely stunned at some of the posts over the last few days. Not on the ramping, or deramping as that is standard, but on the clear lack of understanding on market fundamentals. Before anybody invests in a share, they really need to research on market terminology and how it works. Specifically, how a market maker works, what drives an SP, how a broker works, Spread etc. It doesn't take much effort to do and once happy with the fundamentals look at researching a company that you think is undervalued. This will save a lot of sleepless nights and ultimately loss of any hard earned cash (You wont be swayed by opposing statements made on this board).

Just a slight tweak to that statement, revenue is a factor if you have some coming in obviously :)

RRR Just thought i would respond to your message as its a really strange point you make and apologies if i have misread. A share price doesn't work on how much revenue the company is making, or in this case how many gold nuggets come out of the ground (Gold Bars). The price is dictated by supply and demand. The demand is dictated by the company potential and the Supply by how many shares are in circulation (This is dictated by traders / top slicers releasing shares). The potential here will dictate whether the share price moves above the 12p this year.

I'm slightly surprised at the SP movement today as i was expecting a heavy rebound as is usually the case after a drop on news. As mentioned in previous posts, if you are a LTH then this share movement will mean nothing as we are destined for a much higher SP. The NUMIS broker note is a conservative target and i expect the SP to be closer to that level in the next 6 weeks on anticipation of further news. For the newbies who bought in higher yesterday or Wednesday, don't panic, step away from the forum if you cant see through peoples agendas. The impatient are the traders who want the share to turn around a quick profit for them so they can move onto something else, which i'm not knocking as its a strategy that may work for them. Keep your fingers sticky and this will make you significant money over the next 12 months
