In SP terms thats 60-65p based on 3p per moz valuation against our 30% owned..feel free to include copper in that ;)

However be cautious as the Maiden Resource Estimate will be conservative, so much lower. Obviously if its the size of Kalgoolie then 21moz might be the conservative estimate :)

Thanks Hardup. Disappointing, 2022 seems excessive unless the company is performing badly, Haven't researched financials on BT as was my next step before taking the plunge. Div payment is what i am looking for so might look at these in the future

I currently have a sizeable portfolio in AIM listed stock and am heavily exposed in some. With that in mind am looking to dump some stock and sink it into a dividend paying stock that is relatively stable. My mum used to work for BT many moons ago and has good things to say about the company. Can anybody provide me with some clarity on current state of BT dividends. I see that in certain news articles they mention BT slashing div payments due to COVID 19 impact, but i cant find any RNS on it?

You only get shouted down by the way you say it. I have mentioned on numerous occassions that the share price will likely retrace on news or after as it follows a trend. I have never been shouted down for it, i have always added that i dont care about the SP price moves until the MRE and beyond. However if you decide to word it in a certain way for example

"all these people banging on about share increase tomorrow are talking rubbish, dont listen to them to the LTH's, this will drop like a lead balloon"

Then its going to get peoples backs up

Typed into Google AIM mining stock, as I wanted to diversify portfolio to include junior miner and this junior explorer came up. Had a choice between this and ZIOC and this looked a better investment based on research

Bamps there is plenty more i could've added. The biggest point that i may have mentioned on numerous occasions and will, for the benefit of the newbies, repeat again. I refer you back to the Newcrest investor presentation and the CEO of the 5th biggest mining company in the worlds statement when the presenter was trying to move onto Red Chris after taking up the majority of the time fielding questions on Havieron....

" We are moving as quickly as possible to get this to production"

That's the CEO... no higher position... talking about a company with an SP of 15p and £5 mill in the bank.... I'm holding thanks

Not sure what has happened to this board but its gone slightly crazy, so just to recap.

Has the board of directors resigned - No
Has price of gold collapsed to the price of a cheap Casio watch - No its actually increased
Has Australia been hit by a meteorite - No
Have Newcrest decided to stop the JV and move on - No
Have the fundamentals changed - Yes, we have just found more gold

So why is everybody in melt down on an SP drop by 3-4%. Seriously, if you are that worried then investing isnt for you. For all newbies who aren't complaining about how they are under and asking panic questions, like why has the SP dropped, just have faith in your research and hold onto them as you will be greatly rewarded

Rumour and he adds Satellite imagery next to it. You do know we use satellite imagery to track weather, GPS location, tv channels, missile systems.... assume all that output is rumour. Oh my days

The only people who make true money are those who research the company and invest. The traders dipping in and out will make 10% here or there, but if you see true successful investors they will make a lot more in the long run. Not knocking trading as i do it with other shares like SNG and NCYT, but the profit made covers around 5% of my overall profit. GGP makes 95% of my profit (all of that coming in the space of 6 months)

Tom111 you can mention all the shares in the world to me... I will have a go for you TOM, NCYT, UKOG, ECR, blah blah blah. No true investor here is selling, thus why the MMS are having to force the issue, which they are failing.

I've said it a few times and i will say it again, who cares about the SP! The only people who do are the investors looking for a quick turnaround in there investment. I have no problem with that, but for true investors this will mean nothing. This is just one step closer to the goal of realising one of the biggest gold finds in a very long time. I certainly wont be selling anytime soon and i doubt the majority of this board will

The beauty of this bored is that nobody cares about the SP today, as it means nothing. This is just another day closer to what we all signed up for. As i keep telling people online or in person, this is the only share that i am truly invested in. I am invested in the company and the board, i trade other shares and will continue to do so.
