As regards Wres, absolutely spot on.

Attila, I don’t think the ‘market’ necessarily knows MM, certainly not well enough to follow a tiddler like Wres throughout its tenure. What the market will respond to is production figures, revenue, profit or if not then good solid figures say from a Jorc on a substantial ore body. There can be interest in ventures and such, but that is diminished at the moment by the world of issues going on. Substantial numbers will put us right in the game, and we really are on the cusp of that.
As regards MM he has missed targets, I think everyone can agree on that- the other side to look at is the mine we have coming into operation and for a relatively low caped compared to others, it is a good job, albeit having been a lot longer than expectation. Onwards and upwards from now on.

Dreamingof, I understand your frustration. However, at the AGM MM was assertive about news coming in September and onwards for production figures. The ramp up does not start happening until we are commissioned fully. Following the AGM, I did not expect to see much in July and August. Especially the case given the holiday period in Spain at that time. Having said that next week we could see some news ( is there a time limit on director buys and big news that has to be adhered to?). Very unlikely to get anything today I think.

TT, if you know and speak to someone that sells and they tell you they sold for a reason external to the company because they need the money, it’s not a mantra to say they sold because of that. I do know of some sells that were made for reasons other than the performance, or lack of it, in Wres or its SP. I also know of some sells that were determined by the view of the company. Most I know about were for other reasons to do with need, and that’s not a mantra. There are also some that I don’t know anything about. I note MM has held and bought more recently.

Oldie, your opinion does not seem to have changed yesterday. I would say you have been pretty consistent.
Personally, I take the view we were not getting any news until September, so no news in August meets my expectation. Your expectation is a more negative view, and your comments point to a lack of positivity towards the company. I really don’t think that’s new though or come about anytime this week.

JT that stings. Not a great selling time. It’s hard to read the runes. Many would have thought to have sold and bought had we known the SP drop. But being on the cusp of the cusp is a tricky time. Perhaps you can get back the same or lower, hard to tell. We are getting to September and that should be news time.

The report also mentions that prices for APT seem to already have taken account of the fanya stockpile. Which means the price is at a low that has that taken into account. Could start riding again, after all the stockpile of apt was always there and known about, as a strategic metal it can be that reserves are required.

The Fanya sell off of metals is already known. It’s a finite lump that will affect supply and prices as one off. However, the trend is for a deficit in supply longer term- so it will get used up over time. The report reads like the Chinese producers will buy it up and release it into the market as their own production drops. If they can buy it and sell it for a profit just by holding it as stock without doing anything that makes sense, it would also mean they keep the prices better on what they produce- I note it says they have reduced production. Well that’s my opinion.

This report ( link) penned in April refers to tungsten price, stockpiles negatively affecting price in Q4, but long term a deficit in supply ( which to me means higher prices), also mentions Wres. Reading this illustrates how being a low cost producer puts as at an advantage, especially coming out the other side of released stockpiles; my theory being other producers fall away. However, this cannot all come true by 9:45 tomorrow morning because we want it all now.

The MCC is the centre of the nervous system, the other bits all do as it says. It has to be spot on for the integrated systems to not **** each other up.

As I understand the gold situation, it’s either more gold or mate gold than that. Ore body flat or dipping, geologists trying to work through data and give authoritative guidance on it. I think, from what was said at the AGM, we might need more data to teach an agreed conclusion to the estimate of the resource. Were we to get a wholly big time announced result before soon, I would welcome it. In line with other things I think we get more news in September, well that was my impression inJune and that had been said again. However, if more data is required from drilling or trenching for the gold I would prefer we just get onwith la Parilla - MM has said that’s the focus- however however, if the gold gets up to $2000 oz, I will get over there with me donkey and shovel and sort it out straight away.

Kev, you are incorrect. The diverter is set to a position. It is adjustable, but would not be considered a moving part of a system. So it’s just no moving parts, just helter skelter. Gravity, water and centrifugal force. ( as you point out).

Stealthy, hows tricks? Hope you is all well. I know you have suffered with the delayed cheesed offs. I am of the opinion September is looking to be very promising. If its promising enough I will retire. I know you have a good attitude to life and enjoy things, with results here that gets even better.

L200. You should read the Shard report on Kev’s link. It is informative and they can get their arses sued if they lie.
We are good on the numbers in it and that’s just for the T2 phase. Also it refers to things such as us being low risk, the very good design of the mine set up and it’s bespoke system for our ore following practiced processing. The wait due to the delays on this is disappointing, however, the BOD feel that too and will do everything they can to expedite that. From my interactions (AGM primarily) I understand the impediments getting started to ramp up are being overcome and September will see some considerable good news. Also the shard has not pencilled in the value of gold at Sao martino or the tungsten at tarouca which appears to be in high concentrations.
More generally, the Bexit malarkey will end with some sort of deal and the tariff thingy with the USA will get turned down, so that should pick things up. The Fanya overhang is finite and will move away freeing prices upward. There are increasing uses for tungsten in electrical systems ( solar panels etc). All in all so think it’s upwards for us starting soon. Imho.
