Thanks for the sympathy L200, but not required, my decision and my loss ( not the first time). It’s not nice to lose money, but I have a feeling I will survive.
Normally, I don’t put much in higher risk stuff. and have done rather well on playing in the blue chips. So don’t think I will play in the AiM again…. mind you never say never…..

Aston boy, did Man in black reply on your behalf as though he were you or was it the other way round. ? And to think you both lost the the same amount with the same prices. Coincidences?
Perhaps the reason for the lack of reply to emails was due to the chaps working so very hard on getting tungsten production restarted.then again there may be another reason.

Ie I cannot agree. Operation of machinery need not be onerous in hot weather. I ran the hose over the dog when it was hot.

I thought the price for consumers for gas was much reduced beyond 50% overall- I stand to be corrected. How that may, or may not, effect the price for LNG I don’t know.
Plenty for the Spanish to worry about in Spain at the moment….if you think it’s hot here…..and many things.
If there is support for regional employment it might help.
In the meantime if there is anything happening for Wres I think we would hear?

L200 Land prices were always going to the best bet. More I crease to come I think.
I don’t have enough to buy your land I am afraid. Mind you I could sell up my house down here in Greater London - I think £700 K at the moment and get something nicer up those parts. Mind you I think house prices down here are going to drop if the recession and interest rates start biting more. I have interest in a couple of other properties, but they will probably drop too.
I am not feeling wholly positive. Drought in The headwaters of the nile, and the Ethiopian dam, and in the USA lake Meade looks to be drying out, and the Ukrainian war, phwoar it’s going to,get much worse Imho. Not a bad time to be producing food and have land for photoelectric etc - add on some carbon credits and environmental subsidies ( if available) you will be doing cracking well.

Troajan. Lots of things turning into a bad place. Germany and Europe is heading towards major energy problems, far greater than those currently. Lots of knock on. Then food shortages all over. Then inflation. Then climate change. So investment opportunities will be high ground in northern areas with reasonable rain fall. So buying land in Scotland looks like a good move imho.everything else don’t seem to be very promising.

one of only two UK fertiliser plants shut down for good (energy prices) - it could be that things are going to get much worse. you would have thought food production might get protected in some way - bear in mind all the lost grain at this time. not a lot of cheer.

L200, how on earth do you know when K3VMC sold, or that ‘he got the nod’ ? Has he stated this is the fact? Surely it’s a case of knowing another’s finances etc if you have not been told? And is that legal?

not a good time to go into anything short term imho. longer term might take some thinking about./ in the meantime I await instruction on these that are in my isa and sipp.
