Sold my last tranche of PLUS for 1343, should have got 1350, had an offer but dithered as usual.

Bought CCL at 998

V: I have the same problem as you, whether to sell in order to buy back cheaper only to find the price went up. And the opposite, holding on when the price is dropping. I have some shares so far out of contention that I am also "waiting for the recovery". Trouble is that money is not working in the meantime so it is kind of annoying, doubly so. We can only keep trying, learning from mistakes, usually rash decisions on my part and accept that we cannot get it right all the time.

FTSE is up a tad I see. Remember US market closed today I believe. Good luck all today.

T: happy for you to make any critical/constructive remarks about my trading. I'm a beginner, I need all the help I can get. My "method" is changing over time.
Have made 140% of my target this week so far so that is OK. Monday I made one trade, Tue 3, Wed 7 and today 12. Profit each day has roughly followed number of trades, not too surprising really.
Interesting that at 15:35 you said that you've done all your trades for the day, I nearly always watch off and on to the bitter end

O: My average price on TCM is 151 from january I think.

R: Well done with PLUS trades, I am in and out of house, relying on alerts on my phone when I am on the roof! Not ideal, still managed 4 profits although I have been accepting 15p range or so.

O: I still have TCM, have been ignoring them lately, same with WJG another of my previous favourites.

Refused an offer to sell PLUS at 1306, want slightly more

T: yes, true, I am happy to hold CINE but am trying to play the spikes and shakes although not very well. It is, like CCL, a share that can move very quickly and catch you out if you aren't holding them.

It was FOMO of course but I bought bak into CINE on a fast rise. Don't advise anyone to do it. Seems to work half the time for me.
Also, have to admit that I have just sold CCL. T line didn't agree and I already think I was wrong.

V: yes, it changes quite a bit over a short period sometimes. It's +4.36% now (at 12:18 am).
Don't compromise your agreed (with self) buy in price on shares just to get into market, unless conditions change of course. That way lies madness, I am often there, it's not pretty.

Limit Sell on PLUS executed for another 1% profit. Will try for a record four trades (8 buy/sells) on PLUS in one day.

I guess I am getting greedy. I have a limit sell on (third trade today) PLUS at 1309, doh, 1305 is my normal "cut and run" point and it just got to 1307.9. I think I would on balance be happier taking a smaller profit and be starting on a fourth trade. Moral: Lots of little regular profits can add up to more than one big profit, sometimes. Ha.

V: That futures figure changes regularly but on my computer I have to keep refreshing the page to get the lastest figure.

Feeling smug, have earnt a bit (now in excess of my weekly target) and have cut one piece of corrugated iron into 3 pieces. (Don't ask)

V: Do you see the closing price for yesterdays US CCL on that web page? Well, to the right of that there is a figure for the expected opening price. This is only valid shown while the US market is closed. It does show, not that I can find, 1 week, 1 month, 3 month futures etc.

Have just bought back into PLUS at 1294 for a hoped for 3rd small bite of the cherry.

O: Well research, you deserve to make profit on that. I did read something in the saturday times a week or two back about the small charter plane business booming but didn't take enough notice. I see VOD got over 130 again today. I sold yesterday at 128.5 but hey, a profit is a prof.

I see I have just done a second trade on PLUS today. I had a limit sell set at 1305 which just activated. I only made 1% but I think I may be able to do it a third time today.
CCL is getting close to the T line sell indication at the moment but I am still holding out due to the US future for them being 5.6%, and similarly for Norwegien Cruises.
