O...pleased to say TTG are up 3.8% today, I bought at 222 so hope to be in profit this week.
Made about 20% of my weekly target today so smiley face emoticon.

Sold second tranche of ASC at 5408

m....I am not having problems with IG (except for their 2 problems that have been a feature of the site for over a year).
Yes, problems with LSE postings. I agree the traffic must have increased, people trying to hit the ground running in 2021.

Yes Blockchain technology and Hydrogen energy were 2 potential growth areas I did a little research into about 9 months ago. I am looking for the next GGP or NCYT. I think ARB are a possibility, pity I left it 9 months to invest. I note "hydrogen" from GGP chat room is one of the contributors to the ARB chatroom.
Have sold ASC (bought Friday) for a 2.7% profit.
Finding the market a little boring for me today, might get my chainsaw out.

m....arrrr, Argentian Steak here at SadAct central, we have named it that after the Argentinian restaurant in Amsterdam where we first had it 40 years ago. It's simple, Steak with mushroom and garlic sauce, baked potato and a large green salad (including advocado) and don't forget the red wine, Argentinian red is good but we haven't got any.

Have just finished a couple of hours chainsawing firewood, VERY satisfying especially using my battery chainsaw, Brilliant device. I know, T, I could afford to pay somebody to do it, better yet to actually buy the firewood ready prepared. Ooo, I am getting the heebie jeebies just typing that last sentence. I blame my father, no, that's wrong, I credit my father with my inherited DIY, self sufficient attitude and always wanting to fix things rather than replace them bt am aware that it comes across as "tight".
Cor, had to turn down a 5year 6% p.a. return investment opportunity this morning. I actually looked at what investments I would have to liquidate to fund it and couldn't bring myself to do it.

V...as I have previously admitted, my portfolio value is down a lot this week (due to GGP,NCYT and SNG) but then the problem is I was comparing it with an all time high for my portfolio a week ago. A fluke really. Starting my new spreadsheet has revealed 4 errors in my rough notes...all in my favour as I always try to err on the safe side. I can now admit that I made 234% of my weekly target this week mostly due to selling 2 juicy tranches of CINE. Without those, it would only have been 109%. Trouble is, you can only sell the family silver once....with apologies to Harold Macmillan.

m...sorry, I have recalculated my profit target and it is 0.21% of my portfolio value. Do you include paid dividends in your weekly target, I don't now but 2 or 3 years ago, I did.

That's fascinating your 1% target per week, I have never given it a moments thought to relate my target to the portfolio value, obvious really. Calculating mine it turns out to be just below 0.5% of my portfolio. I agree, I also only bank the things I sell. I am evious of your 1% target....maybe mine (often exceeded) is too low as T used to say. Possibly as only a portion of my portfolio is "in play" so to speak. This is yet another reason to reduce the number of my holdings, to concentrate funds on "in play" stocks to boost booked profit.
