FTSE slightly up, FTSE250 -0.47%. BTC up overnight so am hopeful for a strong opening on ARB.
Hopeful that SNG will continue their rise, that BOO will have very good statement and that ASC will be dragged up to new 1year highs in sympathy. In fact, I am full of hope.

The other bee in my bonnet is another dig at the government over vaccination reporting....you know they intend to vaccinate the top 4 risk groups, some 13-15mlillion people before mid February? Arr well, now they are saying that 13-15 million people will be "invited" to be vaccinated before mid February. Expect millions of invite letters to be sent out in early February just so that b+rst+rd Handjob can say "look we've done it"! New meaning to St Valentine's day massacre.

well, 12 trades in ASC for me today (6 buys 6 sells). Sometimes, rarely really you get into a groove with a share. I remember doing it with FEVR, think I traded it more than 20 times in one day following all the small cycles.
I have some BOO so am looking forward to some action there tomorrow. Hopefully it will also have an effect on ASC?
Didn't trade SNG today, their news is so significant I feel, that they have further to go up. NCYT had a good day too and I did sell some of my "trading extras" of NCYT. Rather a good day for me as my largest holdings gained well, GGP,NCYT and SYN. HEMO did well too.
Biggest regret is not selling CINE at the open but I was too busy. Doh, I should have set up a limit sale.

T...I am on 5 ASC sells and 4 buys. IG wouldn't let me sell just now above 5450! doh!
Also tried to buy again at 5346 just now, thought it had gone through, then IG cancelled it.
Not doing too bad considering that I am working on my car at the same time, it is a bit rainy and dull but quite warm at 10 deg. Sorting out windscreen wash motor, it has seized but may be able to fix it.

T...yes, I am on alert for ASC action, I have 2 tranches at the moment and hoping to get the chance to sell both profitably.

V...Finally the RNS from SNG we have waited for, phase 3 trials starting. I hope the price gets back up above the 175p level that we subsribed at. Incredibly they even got a segment on Radio 4 this morning mentioning Synergen and SNG001, brilliant.

GGP holders may be pleased that there is a good RNS out, I am keen for them to get back above the 37p level.

Don't think I will get much sleep on the sofa today, Good luck all.

m....I've been beating myself up this evening over not selling ASC earlier, even now hours later I feel bad.
I too hold some, not many, SAGA and I didn't even know that they had risen today! So now I feel worse! I have an excuse which is no excuse at all really, I find that I don't have SAGA on my watchlist through an oversight. Ha, a beginner's error. So you've helped me sort that out, thank you.
The good thing though is we can apply T's rule 8: "tomorrow is another day"

T...could have but ASC looked strong so didn't take 5280, reset mental sell price at 5320, they almost made it, I refused offser at 5316...geedy idiot that I am.

FTSE up a smidgen but the FTSE250 down 1.4% which is probably a better index to measure my holdings against.
Not expecting too much trading action today, maybe a trade on ASC, managed 2 buys and 2 sells yesterday but I was lucky. Not happy about ARB, they fell somewhat but BTC (Bitcoin) has gone up a bit overnight so that might help ARB.
I think I made a mistake buying ARB now. Doh!
