I note that AXS did a "V" and started to reverse just after I bought, Doh! TTG by the way, have been making steady positive progress back up to my buy in price of 220p (I seem to remember).

Spent a jolly hour again looting building wood offcuts from a skip down the road, will get some more tomorrow if the snow isn't too deep!

T..Made 145% of new target and now I am suffering from another effect of trying too hard to meet targets. Namely that I have put off taking profit by not selling TCM or another tranche of CINE...just so I can (probably) sell them next week towards that week's target. Is this the protestant work ethic, madness or a perverted form of gerrymandering?
I am looking for an opportunity to buy back into ASC hopefully this afternoon.

R...Thanks, I bought back into TUI again at 439 hoping for another quick in and out. Have read the terms of the RI. I note that it is fully underwritten but is a bit onerous. Can't think it will go as low as 250s, RIs sometimes surprise. However, I don't need to take this risk right now so will sell as soon as I see a profit, however small. Good luck.

Bought some ASC and TUI, even though I have no idea why TUI dropped. Maybe bad reaction to RI but I expect a bit of a recovery.

Sold some CINE at 67.5, don't know what is driving them up but happy to take advantage. Have now easily past my weekly target, good oh.

T....Sorry for delay, busy with drama at TCM. On ASC my indicators say ASC is still a buy so I am hanging in there.
TCM is a mess, takeover bidder has been rebuffed, price down 10%. I can't quite understand what is happening so I think the bid will become hostile or another bidder will be flushed out.

O...I agree on all counts. I also agree with comments about if the protest had been around BLM issues, the "protest" wouldn't even have got started.
I am guilty of bad trading this morning, before the open I had set a limit buy on ASC at 5070 to catch a down spike. Didn't mean to catch the down trend!
Forgoing my usual thursday shopping trip today, when I looked we have enough to last more than a month in our cupboard if push came to shove.

V...don't think we will get much of a kick up on PLUS today. I have 2 tranches waiting for some action.
CMCX did well earlier and I sold them. FTSE up 3.8% must be a bit of post brexit push in there.
TCM takeover fever returning, they are up 4%. Feel I should sell some IAG, thinking this bull run can't last.

T...I thought that the target was everyone over 70, not 50, by mid February would be vaccinated. Johnson said that and it is reported on BBC website.

Isn't it the case that even if you are vaccinated, you can still transmit the virus. The vaccination doesn't "kill" the virus, it protects you from it ideally. So testing will still be needed in parallel and probably indefinately.
Gove was on the radio earlier and he has obviously had lessons in avoiding answering direct questions. Martha? on Today programme must have asked him 6 times to say when the 300,000/day jabs would be reached. Politicians are twisty turny things.
