Maybe this is because I’m boiling alive and I’m irritated but what the **** are the government doing? Cases are through the roof. 3500 are dead every week. Is the plan to kill of as many vulnerable as possible? Where’s the haste? Why isn’t the country locked down again? Just subsidise the businesses, it’s only money! If we were at war you couldn’t bumble along like this and this is no different. Here’s an idea, shut everywhere down, then make a plan. Don’t let the virus run riot and then make a plan. It’s like waiting for a great flood to arrive and then getting the foot pump out to start inflating the armbands and calling yourself decisive as you bob about amongst the dead. Somebody needs to get a grip of this. They need to grab it around the collar and hold it down while they get the handcuffs out. That being a vaccine rollout plan for mass vaccination and a massive MASSIVE testing rollout. The tiers don’t work. Liverpool is rammed, everywhere, because businesses are struggling to survive. So bars and restaurants are packed. Shopping centres are rammed with no social distancing. Shut it down! The fact of the matter is the debt post covid is already massive, but the death toll from covid, the excess deaths from people having cancer treatment delayed, amongst other illnesses being put on the sideline while they totally **** this up is not acceptable. Why is one party dealing with this? It should be every party, together. 53k cases and where are they? Where’s the press conference? Where’s the leadership! People need to come together and say we just won’t take this any more. Every week we’re losing the equivalent of a 9/11 and these ******* ghouls aren’t doing anything about it. Take the flack, pay people to stay home, **** your political career and save lives! Save the NHS from being overwhelmed. People who say it won’t kill most people, well most people won’t die in a plan crash but if you saw the pilot giving the wheels a kick and going ahhh **** it, let’s go, you’d have something to say. If it was your mum or dad or grandparent you wouldn’t say the same. If it was your vulnerable child you wouldn’t say it. No matter what they do now they won’t beat the virus. The virus has won. It’s ****ed us. It’s bent is over a barrel and shafted us into oblivion. There’s no victory here. There will be no celebrations, we will never defeat covid for the loss is in, the dam is bust, it’s time to save those who’ve survived the flood so far. It’s time for these idiots to get everyone back indoors and to let go of the softly softly approach while they organise mass testing and mass vaccination and get this **** show under control.
Sorry for the rambling but this situation is a national disgrace.
