Me too, but running short on ammo... leaving a bit for the last stand!

Very high volume for past 3 trading days. 24m,17m,23m against the average of only 6.7m. When the volume drops back to average the impact of the buy backs will be far greater. I believe we'll work our way back before XD day, slowly but surely! Just my view that markets will bounce back soon.

Thanks Corry & Sturm. Ties in with my thinking. A yield of 5% would be great and there should be plenty left for buy backs and ongoing development. Looking forward to the company update, and their thoughts.

Yep hopefully a pile being bought on the dip. Companies rarely time their buy backs well but this seems perfect!

Any guesses as to what dividend we may expect this year? All views welcome EXCEPT from Banana square pants who seems desperate to buy back lower having sold out.

I hope the company are buying back what they can at the moment. This is when a share buyback can add real value.

Sorry, I agree with you, but not what I meant. What I'm saying is that any shares bought back now, will mean Aviva don't need to pay the dividend on those shares out of the cash pot they have reserved.

Couldn't resist top up under £4.40 despite aviva being my largest holding! If I take the dividend off my purchase its under £4.20 for a long term hold.
Any shares Aviva buy back now is less dividend to be paid. Lovely!

Wasn't expecting this. Has the iodine price been dropping? Hard to track, so will have to trust it stays high. An update on IO10 would be good too!

Yep, this is one of my bedrock shares along with LGEN. Aviva my largest portfolio holding and I'm still adding slowly. Been very pleased with the performance under the current chair.

Not a good market day for the results. Nice day for a top up tho! Took a bundle at £2.60. Very happy for a long term hold.

Shorts closing out before we go up. Only GLG left. Always a good sign, so my view is we will see an upward push past £1 in the next month.

New here, just building a holding. I see we have a timewaster on here. Sadly so many boards have them. Is Bob one of those flippers? Hot one minute when he buys, cold when he sells?

My view is that shorters wont drop this much more as they want sellers not buyers. Currently they are probably mopping up shares from those selling hoping to buy lower.
My average is around 80p to buy, 88p to sell, over past 2 years. So I'll be adding under 75p if we get driven that low.

Television broadcaster ITV said total revenue in 2022 rose 7% to GBP4.35 billion from GBP4.04 billion, and pretax profit improved 4% to GBP501 million from GBP480 million. External revenue grew 8% to GBP3.73 billion, driven by ITV Studies and its digital businesses in Media & Entertainment. ITV proposed a final dividend of 3.3p, bring the full year total of 5.0p, which was higher than 3.3p in 2021. ITV said it has started 2023 with "strong momentum", and expects 5% annual revenue growth in ITV studios until 2026.
