Yes, I know that many buy and sell around the dividend day. It feels like we're being shorted, but that may be just the impact of everyone playing this share together! Loads of value here as it's a cash generating machine. However, I guess you need to balance that with the risks here.

I sold most of mine when the Rouble strengthened to stupid levels. Bought some back fairly recently and will add slowly.
My view is that all profit should be funnelled into the business until the war ènds and relationships stabilise. Maybe as long as 5 years.
By that time the business should be considerably larger, stronger, less debt, and I can see £1+ dividends a distinct possibility. Almost impossible to quantify though, so much can happen.
Plenty of risk though and 5 years is a long time. I'm accumulating small amounts that I can afford to lose on a high risk / high reward play. However, even on a bad outcome I would expect some return on my investment / gamble!

You have to wonder at the huge spread of broker valuations. I suspect some are in bed with the shorters here. Wouldn't trust the motive for any valuation. The shorters reduced last week, a lot of risk for them here and they have a lot to buy back.

SlashNburn, was just said huge potential for large increase in SP short to medium term. That is the time frame I am expecting most share price growth. Long term, I'll assess when we get there!

It seems FOMO is beating FOWO. Still a risky place for cash, but potential huge returns in the short to medium term.

Sold out at 27p. That update is enough for me to start buying back! At least I didn't lose any dividends!

Interestingly spreadbetters are around 85% short on the FTSE100. Madness IMO. No wonder 70% of "investors"!! on those platforms lose money.
My take is the ftse has stayed relatively flat for the past year. Energy stocks have risen enormously and loads of value stocks have been marked down and shorted such as ITV. Short term I don't see energy / dirty fuel stocks declining. They are creaming cash. However I see value stocks and growth stocks recovering considerably. Would not be surprised to see the FTSE100 break 8000 in the next 6 months.

Google apps store 3.3 stars. Amazon prime 3.9, Netflix 4.2. That said you are comparing an ad based service with a subscription service. You are bound to score lower with ads. Its only the start, and they may have a few initial scale and performance issues to resolve. I'm sure they will soon. Great offering of terrestrial plus digital. The advertising of ITVX has been excellent. I believe they are in a unique position, with many synergies between the two offerings to realise.

I guess if the company had a crystal ball they could have refinanced earlier. If they had capped when they did refinance then the capped rate would probably have been higher. They probably did what was best given the information at the time.

Isn't the debt based on SONIA plus 1.5%? It would have increased regardless of when they took it out.

Looking at the short tracker it seems that several shorts opened here when truss took over. The overall short value is starting to reduce now, and the price is rising as a lot of these were mopped up at ridiculous prices. They are in my pension and providing a nice ongoing income for me, so the shorters may find it difficult to close IMO. I can't be the only one who took that approach. This is a low liquidity share normally, with low daily traded volumes. When the shorters added 6% of liquidity its not surprising the price crashed to bargain levels. Going to be interesting how this plays out. The company has a low 21% LTV, and an objective to keep it between 20% and 30% so a lot of flexibility.

Jed, you could argue that we had a 3.3p divi earlier this year, and the company has said that dividends will be "progressive". I'm therefore expecting a higher payment than 3.3p.

You are mad winstanley. We have the best league in the world. The depth of the premiership is amazing. If we can't produce a winning team from that squad of talent the manager should be sacked. We should have won the euros with the squad we had.
