Expected the shorters to try and damp sentiment today. Its in their best interest as they need to close out soon. So the early dip just becomes another "thank you shorters", buying exercise!

Lots of positives. They are implying a 3.3p dividend is progressive for the full year. I guess it is, but was hoping for slightly more. As long as they now start their progressive dividend policy I will be happy. Its a transformational year and half decent at that IMO

You only have to look at the huge proportion of A trades every day to see that shorters are manipulating this. They add liquidity at low volume to drop the price and reduce sentiment. There are often huge numbers of shares bought after hours in auction. Its trading at the lowest possible price for the current sentiment. I don't believe it can be driven lower without huge buys from investors. The trend is definitely up, slowly but surely. When the A trades stop this will leap IMO.

When you have shorters in the background then expect the unexpected! The medium term trend is up. They can't stop that! Just say thank you for buying opportunities. Note only showing as two at 0.5% short, but citadel probably also sit with their two orgs out of sight just below the 0 5% reporting threshold. They are all slowly trying to exit slowly without pushing the price up IMO.

Was expecting a push up. Looking at 5 year chart can see the cup and handle, but it also looks like we're somewhere on a spike. Hopefully will go up to 40p+ and consolidate? Last time we were at 30p we fell like a stone when we got heavily diluted. 50% more shares in circulation than then, so MCAP is a lot higher. Strangely iodine production was higher then! However with this new plant and the next we should get back to record production.
The best news is the high iodine price. That is what drives our current surge, so long may it climb.

Recently bought a small stake in my SIPP for potential dividends starting later this year. Anyone have a feeling how much the yield may be going forwards. Will start building on the dips until dividends start.

Looks like polymetal in the US is rising fast. Closed at $4 on Friday. Looks like they may have a view the end of the war is in sight. Here's hoping.

Can anyone explain how 4.153m shares can be bought for £4m at 89p? My maths gives an average price of 96.7p? Paying over the odds to close shorts, but not wanting to publicise?

I guess not! Steady buying over the last week. Shorter closing? Possible buy out? Plus quarterly results overdue 2 weeks. Call me suspicious LOL

However full year production guidance hasn't changed.

Can't see any reason for this rather drastic fall from the highs last year. Full year guidance maintained. The profit in the first half of this FY is the same as the second half last year. Still lots of profit left for growth.
Still, always happy to pick up some cheaper shares and reduce my average.
BTW this isn't the only share that does seem to have RNS synced. The common factor if this had a full LSE listing, and my other impacted share had a ticker code change due to name change. After that all RNS stopped.

You may be right, which is why im hedging my bets by phasing my buys. On the other hand it looks like a bargain drop based on what may be a production blip.

Its now made my "top up" list. Taking the opportunity to lower my average! Will be drip feeding buys while it stays this low. Its one of my core long term holds.

Smelly, if you recently sold £200k worth, it's not surprised we've been held back. Starting to move up now I feel. Hopefully we will hear about the funding package soon that's in progress, and a separate fund raise won't be required.

Looks like a couple of shorters bought 0.2% of share capital on the rise to 96p. They needed to do that to create some volume sellers IMO. The selling seemed to hit a lot of resistance around 88p. I see a new shorter has just popped his head above 0.5%, while the long term shorters are busy reducing as quickly as liquidity will allow.
Results are a big gamble for everyone. Not a risk most of the shorters seem to want to take.
The fact there is also a possible bid in the offering is another huge risk for the shorters.

Also topped up at "bargain of the week" prices yesterday. The more I look at the growing new products business, the more I like it! GLA
