HL have replied "Withholding tax cannot be reclaimed by clients in SIPP accounts due to HMRC legislation stating that no benefit of a pension can be received outside of the pension wrapper. Therefore the claim must be processed by the SIPP provider and HL do not offer this service."
I am still following up, as to me this is unsatisfactory.

I believe its 15% on ISAs. I can't find anything in the agreement to the contrary.

Looking at the average volume of trades across the 3 markets I don't see how they will easily buyback 10% of their stock. I reckon there would have to be a considerable price rise to generate the volume required. Just my thoughts....

I must admit I'm at a total loss trying to think you would sell at this price. However, plenty are otherwise we'd quickly rise. Anyway, personally I'm expecting a rise back to at least £4.60 before the next XD day in August! I live in hope - always!

From the contents of this board it seems the shorters are all over this. My interpretation is that the company don't expect an immediate resolution, but do expect it to be resolved. So there may be a great top up opportunity soon for LTH, or an amazing entry point for newbies. If we get a resolution I expect it to be long term and wouldn't be surprised to see a quick climb to £2. No purchase is without risks, or shorting if it comes to that.

A whopping 3.6m bought back yesterday. Must have been available with good volumes. Caught up on their required daily average. Looks like they were hovering up what they could around 406p.

Couldn't agree more. With Gold at $1960, and looking likely to push through $2000 soon this seems like a steal. Been topping up when funds permit since they dropped below 20p.

Looked at the share news. Don't know what muppet wrote this morning that there was weakness in the insurance sector and we were down 4%!! Joke.

Results better than my wildest dreams. Probably my best investment of 2023. Let's see.

Don't forget there's a buy back in place this year, unlike others. It should slowly eat away at the free float. Looks like they will be buying at around £4 tomorrow morning. Makes the buy back go a bit further.

Don't know what BB has stated as I've got him filtered. The only one in my filter list. Others are close, but he's just one sad spammer.

Buy today and get 20.7p cashback per share in May! Equivalent to around £3.96. May be the only way to get shares under £4. But who knows what tomorrow brings!

Took a small LTH here yesterday and will slowly build as the shorters exit (which is what I hope will happen!). Shorters can create great opportunity when they overplay their hand. There's a lot to buy back here... Will be adding slowly. GLA
