Appeal will drag onto Q2 2022 and between now and then, we will see Cineworld emerge from the recovery.

For me, I waited on the sidelines and the news on the court case/judgement was going to be the catalyst - well, we got it.

It's down significantly to 27-32p.

It's either load-up time or stand by the side saying "if only" in 3 months time.

More positive words on the box office recovery, which Cineworld, the 2nd largest cinema operator in the world will benefit from.

Ask yourself, what is the next newstream?

1. The appeal will take 6-12 months
2. No immediete liqudidity concerns
3. Q4 should do well considering there was no more box office re-shuffle - Spiderman, Matrix and Kingsman will do very well
4. Masks are back in cinemas which have a silver lining - concessions with popcorn and drinks will see money running through the tills
5. Covid recovery in sight thanks to vaccine booster drive and anti-viral pills courtesy of Pfizer

Despite being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spiderman won't be available to watch on Disney+.

Sony retain the distribution rights to the franchise and they currently have a deal with Starz who have the first-pay-window rights to stream the movie for the FIRST 18 MONTHS after release.

Netflix bought the previous Spider-Man movies to air on their streaming platform.

This will be a major upset to Disney+ fans and I believe it will reset expectations of early streaming releases for movies as big as Spiderman.

Warner Bros have already stated that come 2022, they WON'T stream simultaneously when releasing into movie theaters and cinemas.

This exclusivity is going to bring significant upside to the share price for Cineworld IMO.

The entire recovery market has taken a beating and I imagine many are looking at their portfolios in disbelief.

The media and governerment over reaction to the omicron variant has wiped off a lot of profit for many I imagine.

With this news on Cineworld and Cineplex, presents a great opportunity to either average down or in my case, take a position.

I posted this below when Cineworld was facing ruin and I'll do it again to give you an idea on the recovery we saw last time.

Timeline of previous movement of share price:

October 2020 = 17p
November 2020 = 66p (388% increase)
December 2020 = 72p (423% increase)
January 2021 = 88p (517% increase)
February 2021 = 104p (611% increase)

Even the most impatient investor can appreciate the past performance and see this current SP is a great opportunity.

Seems we have some invested in hydrocarbons with a matching alia coming along to tell us about the long term prospects of Cineworld and being so kind to offer investors advice to stay out.

Not a chance - they are desperate to drive this down.

The news has digested and the fact remains from Mooky and the BoD:

1. Judgement will be appealed
2. No payments until that appeal process concludes at which point we could see Q2 2022 with us
3. Speaking of Q2 2022, I would say given October 2021 delivered a 90% recover to pre-covid sales, the fundamentals suggest with the biggest 2 movies of 2021 to play: Matrix and Spiderman - a recovery to 100% pre-covid will come before Q2 2022
4. October 2020 saw the share price hammered to 17p, too may were frighten and missed the opportunity to go big, some of us did and then proceeded to sell at 90-100p and make a handsome return. The current SP at 32p wont' be dipping any lower - the worst news is there and the market has found a bottom here.

Stick to ramping Harbour Energy.

Best thing they did was exit the Sea Lion project.

Like Rockhopper now, this a fantastic entry for new investors.

"Why are so many new posters coming here to warn others about potentially not investing?"

Three answers:

1. They are kind compassionate posters who care about retail investors
2. They want the share price to drop to support a short position they have created

Many have seen these theatrics before, ignore the FUD, let the news sink in and wait for further updates and consider your circumstances if you wish to either average down or take an entry.

I'm not suggesting others do anything, but my personal take is at this share price, this was a great entry to take given similar volatility with Cineworld and just how quick it has the means to recover.

The worst of the new is there and with each hour of trading the news and shock will settle.

I would expect Mooky to issue Q4 results next month with similar positive news that attendance is up along with the passive income stream through their monthly UNLIMITED membership.

My take is at 32p I fully expect to see a 300% increase to 96p within a few months.

I remain bullish at this entry despite the news and the fact that appeal is on-going which in the world of commericial law will drag out to Q2 2022.

Basilius it actually hit 17p back in October 2022, your observations are correct - there was a significant recovery.

We know that Omicron isn't as severe as Delta and it is established that this variant could have a silver lining.

The government have a projection for boosters for all eligible by the end of January (next month) and Pfizer have some fantastic anti-viral drugs to mitigate hospitalisation and mortality.

Mooky is telling us that Cineworld are seeing 90% recovery in sales to pre-covid levels and he has hinted that we may even see a NASDAQ listing akin to AMC.

For me, the entry is a fantastic price to get back in.

DM - of course it's at this level. The shock of the decision by the Canadian court has knocked the SP, this was to be expected.

Many seasoned investors saw similar theatrics with the share price back in October 2020 year when it hit 17p and was able to recover significantly once direction and immediate liquidity concerns were addressed.

The BoD have made it clear:

- Appeal in progress
- No payments or costs right now
- Have not called out any immediate liquidity concerns

On this basis, the reaction to the SP is oversold IMO and with legal disputes of this magnitude, it is my belief we will see this drag out to Q2 2022 at which point I believe sales will be as close to pre-covid as 2019 which will see a big re-rate and significant upside to the share price.

The current SP in my opinion is a fantastic entry and I've taken advantage.

It's too easy to get distracted with the current news and deliberate push down of the share price.

Now is the opportunity to take advantage.

I'm back in now at 32p and here to Q2 2022 where I expect the share price to be 3 x the current share price.

Cineworld sales touched 90% of pre-COVID levels in October.

The movie library for 2022 is full and 2021 still have three big movies:

15th December 2021 – Spider-Man: No Way Home
22nd December 2021 – The King's Man
24th December 2021 – The Matrix Resurrections

Cineworld are fine for liquidity whilst the appeal goes on and I imagine this will drag on to Q2 2022 - at which point they should be near fully recovered for box office sales and discussions and potential mergers with Cineplex can take place.
