I am reminded that RKH did state that the Falkland Islands Government dissolved their political arm of Government in September with elections due 4
November 2021 - political engagement was not possible until post that date. Now this has elapsed they will be able to present alternative approaches, one of which that may see RKH return to an operator role. Perhaps this more simplified partnership with Navitas without Premier Oil/Harbour in the equation other than decommission, may finally see the ball rolling.

For me, this remains a long term hold especially at this bargain basement entry of 5p.

Godders, unless you have a crystal ball and can accurately predict the outcome of OM and the negotiations with Navitas all you can do is speculate.

Don't mistake a gut feeling for something that will 100% happen, I'm sure as a young boy, that feeling didn't always guarantee a date with a girl (or boy, not one to discriminate) you approached.

I've made it clear, I took a very modest position at 5p so I'm prepared to lose it all but then I'm reminded what what Oriel have stated in the past concerning Rockhopper:

This is a commerically viable asset and whilst you and I continue to speculate, many are seeing the value that it can bring and I'm sure they too are taking a position or punt (all depends on the investors appetite for risk vs reward).

Iinsolvement DOES NOT mean current assets less than current liabilities.

It means unable to pay debts owed. This is NOT the present case for Rockhopper.

By all means, spread FUD to support your shot position, but let's try not to re-invent financial terms.

Rockhopper have somewhere between $6-7m cash in the bank right now, so no Godders they are not insolvent.

With OM around the corner and a juicy judgement and settlment, I expect their cash balances will be topped up significantly in the coming month(s).

This is ample cashflow to keep going and get SL progressed.

The Falkland Islands government agreed to extend all of Rockhopper's licenses, including SL until Nov 2022 - this is a clear sign they want first oil and this will be used in the business plan for any financing and negotiations, I'm sure.

Regards to those who bought in at £2-3, I think they will make money. I won't publish the projected NAV again because I don't enjoy seeing Kurgan and his fellow boiler room operatives squirm, but if just 10% is returned with 90% waste, Rockhopper can easily see heights of £5 in time to come.

It's all about patience which I appreciate amongst many seems to have been exhausted.

If you believe RBL is only available for producing assets you are seriously mistaken. RBL is afforded to BOTH development projects and producing fields.

With regards to the Operator, that is why Rockhopper is in conversation and negotiation with Navitas.

Too many investors are either willfilly ignorant or manipulating the timescales here to suit their agenda.

This is not a residential mortgage being arranged - 6 weeks to completion... hurrah! On the contrary, now Harbour have exit, this has deviated from the plan and if you can afford patience, I believe you can be rewarded at this entry.

Godders - NOTHING is a certainty and until then you and I can continue speculating but lets be honest about our positions. I'm invested for the long road. You and Kurgan are either day trading or have a short open. There is nothing wrong with that but don't post BS to suggest otherwise.

With that said there is nothing to be worried about recapitalisation. If anything it should be welcomed.

Reserve Based Lending (RBL) is ripe at $70-80/barrel alternatively the company can look at capital raising via convertible debentures. A fund or lender will earn fixed interest payments while the bond is active and also have the option to convert it into equity IF or WHEN the stock price rises over time.

The size of the asset (SL) is too big to ignore and I remain bullish so macro movements of share price don't flinch me.

2023? What about 2033, Godders? You may as well go all out and add a decade to increase the FUD effect.

A judgement was expected in July and did not surface but it's not entirely unexpected to see 6 months of delays, which puts us in a place where this could land any day now.

Least we forget that Rockhopper believes it has strong prospects of recovering significant monetary damages - on the basis of lost profits - as a result of Italy's breaches of the Energy Charter Treaty.

The icing on the cake being that all legal costs associated with the arbitration are funded on a "no win - no fee" basis from a specialist arbitration funder that will be incredibly motivated to recoup legal costs and will make their position clear - the longer this goes on the larger the judgement and legal fees.

COP26 has ended and I expect a judgement very soon.

In case anyone else doesn't post this - I want to say thank you, gents for your alltrustic efforts to warn off investors. Your devotion and unflinching determination to ensure retail investors don't lose money is really moving.

All investors, including those, like me who got in at 5p would do best to listen to Godders and Kurgan. They could easily put to use their precious time elsewhere rather than a stock they have no interest in - yet here they are day in, day out.
