The SP just moved down below the 200MA
More importantly, it is just broken the lower trend line for the Rising Wedge that I mentioned in my last post
If it carry on moving down and confirm breaking this trend, then IMHO it will go down to around 300 - 350
I think it all depends how the rest of the week pans out.

As any stock , there is 2 sides to it
Fundamentals and TA
Looking at the fundamental for KAS , we just saw the effect of the RNS announcement, if not for the big rise of copper price on Friday , KAA would have closed around 15% down .
On the TA side , the daily chart shows the SP on the upper line of Bollinger Band and the RSI IS AT 70 ( over bought)
So, IMHO and looking at the above , I would say that there is plenty of space for further fall to around 350 when bothe the RSI and the Bollinger hit the lower limits .
Add to that there is a Rising Wedge Pattern firmed since the crash , and it might play in to the tune of 300
I could be totally wrong of course , so , DYOR please

I haven't been following this stock for a while now, but the big drop this morning caught my attention.

This drop in price today would take the calculations back to the original price relation between KAZ and Copper
Meaning when Copper was 2.2 , KAZ was around 200 and when Copper was 2.9 , KAZ was 700
Now Copper is 2.5 , and that would give KAZ a price of 430 - 440 which is near enough to what we have today.
Just my Opinion .

I am looking at the trades, and there is def. someone buying a big chunk.
The volume is higher than normal, and there are many "Buy" trades over 1000 shares
The result IMO is that the SP is holding very well.

KAZ heading down towards the 200MA @ 370 (on the daily chart)
If she cross that down, then IMHO, she goes to 320 / 300
The Trend line bottoms at 250, but not sure if she will go as low as that !
Every thing is possible with this share !

I also saw an article about manufactures now using copper to fight Corona Virus by coating all sort of things with Copper.
I think next week will make things more clearer, it will show if we will have a V shape, U shape , or even W shape recovery.
I have been holding back on buying in again, to see which way it will go, but if it rise again next week, then I will buy in.

Good old KAZ ,,, Now copper is going down, but KAZ is flying !!!
Where is the sense in that ?

Causal , Good article , and you would expect KAZ to rise on that too, because Copper also is up today.
But as I said in my last post, I think KAZ did rise a bit fast so far, and maybe just having a "rest", or even a step back before the next leg up.
Don't forget that there will be some bad economic news for sometime to come as a result of the economy almost stand still.
It is going to be a long way to the top, with lots of setbacks.

To be honest with you, my personal opinion is that KAZ is due for a breather, that will take her down to around 300 - 350
I built this opinion because :
The rise from 260 was too fast
There is some setbacks and delays in the fundamentals because of the Corona.
The charts show a "round top", also there is a "rising wedge", which can be a cause of drop.
But this is my personal opinion, and I could be wrong. !

KAZ SP has crossed down the 50MA (410), and now just above the 200MA on the hourly chart
the 200MA is 384 , and if it cross that down, then I reckon there will be a fast drop, maybe to 350 / 320

Auto : IMHO, I think if we re-visit the lows, then it will take time to go up again, it will be a classic Bear Market, with plenty of little relieve rallies followed by set backs , until the Market eventually gain confidence again, there is no way those 30 Million (or more) will find a job in the next few weeks !
Also many more will have no spare cash to buy the things that these bought before (TV, Car, Computers, Phones etc...)
Then you will have Millions of bad debts, default Mortgages etc..
I think it will take time .

How about Masks manufacturers ? , I bet you they will mint it .

Afternoon Causal, Yes I agree, money is made on the swings , specially if you know which way the swing is going !
But I think there will be a cool down now, and reality will set in after all the initial excitement from the 3 Trillion Stimulus !!
There are more than 30 Million people without a job now in the US, difficult number to imagine !
In the mean time, the DOW had the best month since 1974 , which is also difficult to believe considering the 30 million unemployed !!
Something will have to give here.

I forgot to mention that the 400 is the 50MA line on the daily chart.
So it is an important line, and I reckon that if it drops blow it, then it will be heading down to 350 , IMHO.

KAZ is doing very well compared to peers , it keeps dipping down below 400, only to rise back again.
Not sure how long it will stay like this, because every thing else is heading south at the moment.
Lets see what happens when the Yanks join the party later on !

Thanks George, and I fully agree that there is a good chance of a re-visiting the lows before this drama is over.
I am out of KAZ at the moment, and will wait for a good entry point whenever that is, I am not in a rush.

Would be great to join you and the other guys, hopefully in the near future , when we are allowed to venture out of our caves :)
