I read many reports about China is almost up and running, which is great news for KAZ, because they are our biggest customer.
I also read about the race for the Vaccine and how any breakthrough can turn things around overnight.

Colonel : Remember that the FED said that they are prepared to buy an INFINT amount of bonds, securities, etc.., so that really tells us that they are welling to give whatever it takes, another 1, 2, 3.... Trillions
Then we will get Hyper inflation, Copper and Oil will fly

London Copper (LME) Prices are moving in a very narrow Bollinger band for few days now
The overall pattern on the hour chart is a "Descending Wedge" Pattern .
If copper breakout upward, and the pattern comes to play, then we might see prices shooting up to 5000 or more.
At the moment it is in a range 4750 - 4850

I use IG platform for trading, they have a new interface now, which I find really nice, and the charting on it is very good
It does help when you have good tools !
I was looking at the " Hour " Chart, and of course if you look for example at the 10 minutes chart, then you will get deferent values, so I wonder if you were looking at a deferent Time Chart ?
I actually tried deferent time charts (5, 10, 15, minutes, 1 , 2 hours ) to see if I can get any of them to give your results, but couldn't , so it must be the setup of your chart ( Simple moving average, Exponential , weighted etc..)
I don't have any particular settings on mine, they just appear (20, 50, 200) with deferent colours.

Colonel : my objective with this share is to collect as many as I can by trading (sell high, buy again low), I am not concerned at all about the price at the moment.
Maybe I will trade again couple of times as it goes down.
I try to collect an average of 200 shares a day , some times more, some times less, to lower my average, and increase my holding.

This morning when I looked at the hour chart, I could see that it was going to go down to meet the 50MA at 338
But then, I lost my nerve and bought at 341
Never mind , I was reading a book about Trading, and the writer, a pro trader said that he never got the timing right at the top or bottom, so I cant be better than him !

Just managed to squeeze back in again at 341 , was not easy ! , my platform is not so good when you need to buy in a hurry !

Wonder why ?

I think India shutting down for 3 weeks will surly make a dent in the copper price.
I think it started, and will be applying pressure on the price counter balance to China demand.
Also the US is now facing the reality of the Virus spread.

I think there are many buying opportunities ahead
There will be many ups and downs.
Copper futures already started sliding down.
Remember the Phrase "Buy The rumour and Sell the news" !
Now the US Stimulus done, there will be a cooling down from yesterday "Gold Rush"
I might be wrong, but lets wait and see

Not sure what effect this will have on basic metals, but I can see Copper futures allready sliding !

Colonel : what make you decide to buy copper (KAZ) ?
What about surplus in the metal, because of the slow world economy ?
Don't forget that India is on a Lockdown for 3 weeks from tonight, and copper is already started to slid down !

Causal, don't forget that they can print as many dollars as they want
The whole world is prices and dealt in Dollars , (oil, metals, etc.. )
They have this advantage over everyone else.

I think every one realised suddenly that we all need copper , and also realise that it might be in short supply !
