It looks like it is the US Market (DOW & SP500) !
Forget about Oil , Copper, Corona etc... etc..
When the DOW & SP500 move (where ever they go) , then the rest follows without asking questions !

I am just looking at the daily chart for both Copper and KAZ
Since the highs of June 2018, they have both been in Bear Market
Take KAZ for example :
Lower highs in April 19 then Jan 20
Lower lows in sep 18, sep19 and march 20
The same for copper .
So, unless KAZ and Copper break out from this Bear trend, then I can only see Bear Market Rallies between more declines
The question is : when this breakout will happen ?
To be honest, I cant see it happening very soon until the current conditions change, and world demands increase
But if you look at the Oil demand, you see that it is declining to almost Zero, so what that tell us about the world economy.
I wouldn't expect any big changes very soon, this will take time !

KAZ have just made a move down and gone through the lower edge of a "Rising Wedge"
IMH , I think it has started moving down now towards 350.

Yes very useful as a natural antiviral , but you cant use naked copper, as it can enter the body and cause Copper poisoning in elevated levels.
And that is why they used (in the old days) to cover Copper pans and dishes with a layer of Tin (copper tinning)
But then, Tin doesn't react with Virus and Bacteria as copper do
Copper cooking pans were used because of its excellent thermal conductivity .

I think investors are hanging on until the Q1 production Report, just in case there is a "Goodie" in the box for them.
And as they always say "Buy the Rumor & sell the news" !
Lets wait and see what comes up.

What we see now, is the next stage after the Corona Virus initial shock and follow up bounce.
What we see now is the reflection of the virus effects on the world economy
Oil going negative !! never seen before
Dr. Copper futures are going the same way ( futures down 6.5% as I write )
Unemployment reports and 1 quarter results coming up ( not pretty)

I think, this is "reality" setting in now, and maybe for sometime to come :
The world is swimming in Oil
Industrial Metals demands diminishing
Hyper unemployment

Will the Trillions US stimulus will save the day ?
I think for this, we will have to wait and see !

I totally agree with the article , and the long term for copper is bullish.
But they also say that the short term is wavering , and I think there will be ups and downs for now till the Virus crises is over.
And also there will be good opportunities for discounted prices.

As I said in my previous post that KAZ (and Copper) formed a "Rising Wedge"
Copper has broken downward, and will now continue to go down as this has come to play.
As for KAZ, I can see that it is still hanging to the Edge lower edge by the finger tips !
If it break below 380, then this will come to play as well , and I would imagine there will be a rapid decend towards 350 as a first stop, then 300 or even 250.
All ofcourse IMHO , and DYOR etc....

Just been looking at the charts for Copper (LME) and KAZ
They both formed a "Rising Wedge"
Now the interesting thing :
If copper breakdown from this rising wedge, then it is going to go down to 2.0 /lb (4391 / Ton) which is the copper price on 19/3
Looking at the KAZ chart , it clearly shows a rising wedge , and if it breakdown, then it will go to 260
Now look at the price of KAZ on 19/3 , and you will see it is 260 !!
Lets wait and see if this will happen , and if it does, then it would be a good entry point IMHO

On the daily chart, they both been creeping along the 50MA line, and couldn't climb it
I would say IMHO that they might fall from here bouncing of it down to Dow 18 or 19 K
sounds like a big fall, but that's what happens usually in Bear Markets !
Obviously, KAZ will be dragged down with markets, I would say to 300 ish.

I am not surprised that the Dow is going up with all these Trillions they are throwing at it !
I was reading an article about the FED might start to buy Equity directly , so far they are buying only Government Debts
So maybe this is started to be priced in ?

Sold at 418 and got out for now, it was a good run from 335 , and better not to be too greedy !
It might carry on up to 450, but a bit risky at this level to stay in IMO.
I reckon there will be a pull back soon, then there will be a chance to get in again.

That sudden spike in Copper yesterday on the back of the 2 Trillion US Construction story looked like one !
It did lift everyone's hope yesterday, and copper shot up only to fall back again by the morning, dragging KAZ with it.
But, I still believe it, it could be one of the last options to save the US economy.
Lets hope it gains momentum, and it develop into a real story.

I think the Descending Wedge might play out now sending it passed 5000

Saying that, IMHO, I expect KAZ to have a run, up to around 400 , before it retrace back to sub 300

Obviously it is a bumpy long way back (that is if we are half way yet) , and there will be ups and downs
But I am one of those people who sees the glass Half Full , and I like cheer the good moments.

KAZ got a Gap to Fill, and if I am correct, it is from 9/3 .
If it fill, then we go to around 380 , not bad for a days work !

Also Copper might breakout from the Descending Wedge, and it will then cross the mental barrier of 5000

Lets wait and see if it all come to play in the next couple of days, as sentiment is good at the moment.
