The SP is starting to creep up on the 1 Hour chart, it has formed a "Double Bottom" , and now rising.
On the daily Chart there is now a momentum and space for a further movement upward (Check the Stoch).
One interesting thing that I noticed, is that there is a descending Wedge formed and go back to March when the crash in the SP happened from 700 to 250
If the SP breakout upward from this Wedge at 240 - 250 area, then I would reckon that this Wedge will come to play, taking the SP to around 400 (believe it or not !) , but that's what the TA says !
Lets see what will happen .

The SP is at the moment moving in a very narrow Bollinger Band (1 Hour Chart)
This usually happens before a big price move (Up or Down).
Looking at the SP daily chart, I would say it will be a move UP to the 220 - 230 range
All of course my personal opinion.

Intothedeep : sorry, forgot to mention "Alerts" , they are great to narrow your search for stocks picking, and save a lot of time looking for curtain buying or selling indicators .
You can just set them up, and they will alert you when there is something happening.

Intothedeep : I trade on IG, they have an excellent platform with lots of tools and you can trade (buy, sell) on the chart , so it is really very good.
I use indicators such as Bollinger, RSI, william and Stochastic
The Stochastic works very well for me, it is quit accurate most of the time.

Joey : Fully agree , these young punters just used their credit cards to spread bet on companies, just because others are doing it, or as you said they watched the news on TV.
And now you can see the result of what happened yesterday , Tesla climb to a stupid valuation in few weeks, then plunge 21% in one session, the biggest drop in history !
I wish these people know what they are doing before they spend borrowed money and end up in big trouble.
This is another reason why I don't do spread betting, it is far too risky than just old fashion buy and sell shares.

Joey86: Now days 90% of the trade is done by computers, and they use "Algos" and follow them, which is basically a collection of Technical Charting Indicators
There is also input of market sentiment by the programmers
If you have Level2 , check how much is done by "Automated" trades, and you will see what I mean.

Yes, I did mention the time frame, I said "Hourly Chart", sorry, I mean 1 hour
I usually use 5 minutes for scalping , then 1 hour and daily, I find them really helpful.
But I will have a look at the 4 hour to see what it shows .

Just looking at the SP Hourly Chart, it is at the moment setting at the lower Bollinger Band, so there is a good possibility for an up movement to around 230, which is the upper band.
Also there is a strong support at 207 - 208 , if you noticed, it went there and bounced up again.
Fingers crossed, we might end up the day in the positive side today.

Morning All,
As expected, the US Market Futures are Up, so I would expect a bounce back today, and it could be a strong rise across the board.
The FTSE is Up, which is assuring , specially with the news regarding new restrictions because of COVID.
Unfortunately, RR is sensitive to such news because it effect the travel, but hopefully it wont last for long
We are expecting news about Vaccines any day, and this will left RR and all travel company very strongly.

Please guys, stop targeting each others personally, we are all here to debate the market and not each others !!

Casa : All the US markets hit and bounced off the 50MA on the Daily Chart, which is good.
Also have a look at the Candle for today so far ( Hammer, with the wick dipping into the 50MA line ), so a reversal is due
I expect a good recovery this week.

I had a similar holding at KAZ Minerals , and did take time to recover, so now I tend to do quick small trades to minimize the risk.

The bottom was 2.14

Anyway, tomorrow should be a Good Day for RR
The fear of a US Crash is less, but not gone
And with a bit of good news, then RR should rise nicely to the end of the week

I think the US market is bouncing after the initial fall at the open .
I hope it is not a "Dead Cat Bounce " !!
If the bounce carry on upward, then I expect the FTSE shares to join in (Including RR)

Arsenal : RR is 216 at the moment, so not much higher than when I bought at 2pm
The bottom was 214 at 13:50
So, I didn't buy at the bottom, but near it !
RR was at the bottom band of Bollinger on the 5 minutes chart, so that was a good indicator

RR & Carnival usually move in tandem, but somehow they are decoupled at the moment
Carnival is up 2.5% while RR is down 3.9%
Maybe RR got some catching up to do ?
By the way, I bought in again a tranche @ 2.15

The main goal for trading shares is to make profit
I would say 5% profit on average is good ( buy at 2.17 , sell at 2.28)
I dont short , just buy and sell

Sorry guys, I do my trading for small profits , 5% is good enough for me.
I understand there are some long term investors here who are looking for more profits.
After all, profit is profit, as long as you don't keep loosing !
And by the way, I don't short , just buy and sell

Skiidle, Boom usually happens if some object break the speed sound barrier
It also happens when an object slow down from super sonic
I subsect it is the later !

US futures are in the red , specially the Nasdaq
Looks like another sell off session coming up on the US Markets
