Hi Everybody, I will always remember JT on the AML board last year excitedly reporting that a share he had only just bought into (@7p) had been suspended.

He couldn’t believe his luck and as an ex sailor he reckoned EUA was the one that was going to finally allow him to fulfil his dream of buying his own boat and spending his latter years sailing around the World.

When trading resumed he bought in quite heavily along with quite a few of the guys who followed him over here.

From what I can see you guys have had one helluva ride.

I think we all need the occasional reminder though that this really is only money and if you have got your health you are already a millionaire.

If you are reading this I wish you all the best JT and hope that you get well and finally achieve your dream.

Funny Story.
Went to a completely different Card Shop today (Felling). It’s only small and I got asked if I needed any help which I refused. I was trying to be as discrete as possible checking on the “stock”. Everybody got served so I was the only one there and upon being asked again I again awkwardly refused at which point the girl said I look “lost” so I blurted out “no I’m ok honestly I’m just looking for something for my Grandad”

Grandad? I’m in my 60’s and at a push could pass for 70 ha ha

Wtf.

Cue awkward silence as I left the store. Won’t be going back there again anytime soon. Ha ha

Checked in this morning and all shelves stocked back up including the candles. I reckon they are just too busy to restock the shelves during the day. Three cashiers today servicing the queue when I was there today. Whatever the Card factory management are doing it’s working from what I can see. I’m having a break from all of this now. Going to try and switch off until the results in January. Wish me luck. Ha ha

My guess is that if there was going to be any supply issues over the coming months it’s not going to be for cards because they are all manufactured in the uk although the special paper to make cards I believe is imported.

If there was a shortage though I’m also guessing the first causality would be 3rd party companies that the Card Factory themselves supply, Aldi and the reject shop Australia.

So all the paraphernalia like diaries cups teddies etc would be the first to go and these shelves would temporarily be filled with more cards?

To gauge it properly you have to go to the same shop a couple of days in a row and of course I’m onto it! Lol

I noticed they sell numbered candles and in one shop the most popular numbers “0” and “1” were sold out.

2 days in a row now they were not restocked so today if they are not available then I will be asking questions ha ha

Omg total cringe.

I have just rang them both up for a laugh asking if it was them! Ha ha

Both had no idea what I was talking about ha ha

We don’t but don’t EVER let the truth get in the way of a good story!

You got to laugh, I went on the Card Factory website and found that there are 4 (there’s that number again) shops in Dover and contemplated ringing them one by one to ask. Had a quiet word with myself and thankfully didn’t. Ha ha

On a separate note I called by my local Card shop this morning and it was absolutely heaving - seriously.

8 people queuing at the till and I would guess 20 browsing.

A must watch for all Newbies. Lol.

Hi Banbury yes I keep my eye on Cairn after you highlighted it last month - Well done.
I keep checking in on Saga but I think there are better opportunities out there atm.
I have been in and out of Shoe and surprise surprise out when the big rise came - never saw that coming. (Well done PurpleInvestor!)

Ive only got eyes for Card at the moment and secretly hoping the price stays low for the next couple of weeks (or dips further) because I am seriously considering injecting the proceeds of a property I have just sold into here.

Another 10 grand down yesterday.
Am I wavering?
Absolutely not.

Well, got to be honest in saying that I am the Rabbit (ostrich) that everoptomistic talks about because even at £80 grand down now on Card I have never set a stop loss and never would. Of course I wish I had now the price has dropped 10p below my average but nobody saw that coming! That’s hindsight.

Also with the greatest respect they haven’t signalled that they are likely to raise on the market, that is your opinion and mine is completely the opposite.

My interpretation is that that is an option amongst others. They are all as “likely” as each other!

Each time I read and re-read the last set of results I get more excited about this share.

Good morning PH, every share is manipulated to squeeze as much £ from it.

The Stock Market is a huge money making machine.

If you have luck on your side and pick well then you can make some serious £ which is why we are all here.

Worst case you lose what you gambled and providing you can afford that then hey ho.

Sat outside a completely random Card Factory shop on Saturday (in a different town) and it was really really busy. Saw loads of people coming out with huge balloons and bags of stuff and fistfuls of cards.

Let the MMs (or whoever) have their fun but they will not stop this tide when it turns and boy am I going to enjoy riding that wave!

Simes20 is an account that was created when this dropped. Doesn’t seem too bad a person whereas Paddyboy was just awful plain awful. I don’t think for one second Paddyboy affected the share price but he definitely swayed people to sell early and at a loss which was a shame.

Simes can’t come clean because he would most probably lose his job but who do think is doing this. I have seen it now on every discussion board so it’s either the same looney or an organised group?

C’mon cmon just another 4.5p ha ha!
