I’m still “all in” though and a believer.
The shops are busy though and that’s a fact.

The full 1000+ shops were open end of April so these results are only for 3 months full trading after the 3rd lockdown. Ie July 31st 2021 and the have paid off over £8Million of debt early!!!

Onwards and upwards jedclampit time to get off the fence mate.

Standout sentence to me.

“In accordance with the terms of the agreement, the Group has made repayments of £4.8m against the £75m Term Loan and £3.2m against the CLBILS in recognition of £8.0m Government grants received in respect of non-essential retail closure periods.”

We are now making the payments as per the agreement.

No mention of having to raise cash.

Very happy with those results.

There is absolutely no chance whatsoever of a raise being announced here tomorrow.
The Bod don’t need the £ atm they just need the shops to stay open and so far so good.
I think we are going to be very pleasantly surprised tomorrow morning. That’s what my gut is telling me and it hasn’t let me down yet.

Sat outside my local branch with my cheese & onion pasty Greggs meal deal I had a smile from ear to ear as I saw every isle full of people picking cards and “stuff”. I saw a staff member waiting patiently for an opportunity to restock the shelves. Great investment this.

No but the £10 grand at lunchtime was!

Had the bright idea of selling a few a couple of weeks ago and investing the £ elsewhere and then buying them back in batches but it hasn’t quite gone to plan and have ended up with less! Ha ha

£250,000+ buys vs £140,000 Sells.

So 4 out of the last 5 days buys massively outnumbering the sells. All this before the results which are due on Tuesday (28th).

The MMs can’t hold this back for much longer, the tide is turning.

….and if you didn’t take up the offer then yes you will have woken up the following morning with 15 times less shares than the night before but the pie was twice as big!

The financial director played “a blinder” by doing the dilution and consolidation at the same time and confused many (including the Sunday Times even now).

With reference to your post though unhooked even if you took up the full option to purchase the shares offered you were still diluted for 2 reasons.

1) Sir Roger purchased (created) umpty blonk million new shares for himself to purchase.
2) you put your hand in your pocket and paid extra £ for the same piece of pie you had beforehand.

Hi unhooked I do apologise for not replying to your post it was actually rude of me and thank you Batfasted for doing it on my behalf.

It’s just that it’s been discussed so many times and I think most people here are actually fed up with it and although I did compose a reply for you I didn’t post it because I was wary of starting it all up again.

But since we now have…

For some unknown reason everybody seems to completely ignore the Billion extra shares that were created when diluted.

One argument was that £140M was raised so that counteracts these but it just doesn’t especially since that has almost now been used to pay off debt for the infamous “tour” calamity.

So 3 out of the last 4 days the buys have massively outnumbered the sells with one day breaking even and still the share price drops.

Today £240,000 vs £88,000

One big game this and I’m loving it.

These results are for 6 months prior to July 31. In England the shops opened I think first week in April so 4 months trading. Card is seasonal so the next results ie Aug 1 to Dec 31 are going to be the really important ones and I think the turning point.
The million $ question is RI or RR?
I’m going for re-rate.
70p next week.
