Valju - VAL owns around 60% of valiseek. Are you honestly saying that the majority shareholder has no idea of any negotiations and is therefore not in a closed period.

If so you are clearly deeper in cloud cookoo land than we thought.

Valju - everyone wants the compounds to work. What they don't like is investing their hard earned money on a company that is unable to push them forward in more than reasonable timeframe / cost.

I honestly think the patients would be better off if another company picked up the compounds at cost price or maybe even a small premium so that they could advance them in a conventional time frame.

and failing that I think it is high time there was one or two sacrificial lambs at the next AGM to show the BOD that they are not untouchable and hopefully focus their minds.

Iseleworth - you stated that 401 had been granted phase 3 approval and that the nov 1st RNS stated it.

It doesn't .. 401 has not been granted phase 3 approval.

I have read the document and can't see it as it is not there.

I think you really need to provide a quote from an RNS that backs up your statement.

Secondly I have read the RNS on the 1st Nov. it is a paid for advert, nothing else.

However I have read it cover to cover and nowhere in it does it state that phase 3 trials have been approved.

Once again could you please let us know why you are the only poster on here that thinks it has been approved for phase 3 trials ?

The company has stated that IF it gets to phase 3 then the would IDEALLY like to partner it.

otherwise they can't take it any further.

That my friend is the crux of the issue - As yet no one else apart from VAL has said that they work.

There are two things that will either validate it or fold the company

1. A very positive response from the peer reviews followed by

2. Acceptance to a phase 3 trial by the relevant authorities.

If it is referred to another phase 2 follow up then i'm afraid it is dead in the water.

I honestly don't know how the likes of Uncanny can still post here without apologising to everyone.

Scoobdoo5 - the brokers demanded 6.66 million shares as (and i quote) "part of the fee"

The usual sort of fee for this sort of funding is between 20%-30% so the free shares given out are worth £50k and the rest of the fee will have been a cash payment of between £50k and £100k which leaves a net cash raising of between £400k and £450k after costs (not including legal fees) so will be another few grand lighter. (i.e 4-6 weeks funding)

Scooby - each to their own. Any and every share can have it's merits as long as you know all the facts.

This one unfortunately will never be 'investable' any more but dependent on timing should be good for trading short term. (as long as you work out when the next placing is due, because the MM's always know as well)

Scoobydoo5 - I'm angry and frustrated with the company for blatently misleading investors.

They CANNOT be negotiating a deal if they have just bought shares. It would be highly illegal as they would be trading on inside information.

Apologies for my earlier post to you, i must have mis read it. and on days like this although i have been vindicated it has not placated my frustration with the companies misrepresentation of the facts.

These guys are on £3k a week

It's a tad over 3 weeks wages to them, I doubt they will care when they lose it. They will just use it as a tax write off.

Could you enlighten us as to how the directors can buy their own companies shares whilst they are negotiating a deal without breaking the law ?

Yet at 8.42am TODAY before the placing you said you bought even more ?

Has everyone missed the glaringly obvious slap in the face ?

Directors are not permitted to buy shares while in a closed period. If a deal was being negotiated on any level whatsoever then this would be a closed period.

The fact that the directors have today bought some token shares makes it crystal clear that we are not in a closed period and therfore CAN NOT be currently negotiating a deal of any sort.
