Statistically we can be 95% confident that the true difference is between 1.5x and 8x.

Any true difference between these values is clinically meaningful ie a patient has a meaningful difference in outcome. Our chances of showing this difference in upcoming trials that are better powered and include more of these patients has just shot up. Furthermore, I suspect an analysis combining all these breathless patients showing tighter CI albeit it would be a dodgy anytical result.

I didn't see any suspect safety or tolerability signal.

If I was breathless with covid I would want SNG001.

I am a final signatory. A number of companies are not members of the ABPI.

Given Synairgen are not on the market they are one of literally 100s of companies who are not members - most press licensing companies are not.

I think the guys are clinicians first and credibility amongst peers is important. Early treatment of people who won't end up in hospital was never going to show a difference - hopefully this trial will suggest markers of who deteriorates and who doesn't.

Post hoc analysis dubious but in this case matches the scientific hypothesis and other data. Its a hold first me (average is £1.85) and comfortable. Speed of recruitment is critical but always a problem in trials - suspect data monitoring committee may step in early.

Every person twice weekly would seem unlikely - note current surge testing. We have all been eligible for two free tests but his many of is have applied. I'm about n of 1 but I haven't.

I'm assuming 10% of population for one year based on health and safety via employers - you would think retail, leisure etc will be required to minimise risks and testing is a clear option.

I think if avacta have gold standard test at reasonable price then 10% MS is low.
