The obvious answer is "the market" combines the valuations of 1000s of people. These analysis vary in sophistication and approach but I doubt any of use other than the right reverend and his cheeky top ups moves the market.

The combined result of ball these analysis is a consensus that Avacta is worth more than the other lot. Having been given many polite potential factors for this then just wailing its not fair just reveals that some people should not have access to their own money

I don't use charts. Bought Avacta cause I did my own research that thought the science was great and the risk reward suited my approach. I am a sample of one - my view is biased especially given my belief the forthcoming news will be great. I'm more positive then the average - I suspect most old us are.

The "population" of share holders are probably more risk averserse or have different approaches - some might take profits as price increases. I can see that charts reflect that general view. Saying it doesn't make sense given the news that is coming is routed in the belief that the news can only be good - if that were true the SP would reflect it.

I don't use charts, don't understand them, suspect they are flawed. I particular think mumbo jumbo phrases are more aimed at users trying to feel clever but they are one more tool available to inform a decision - if lots of people use them then possibly they create a self fulfilling result - there again once we know that we would react first - now my head hurts cause I think I just created a paradox

The science of the Interferon response is fundamental and is why I bought SNG.

Basic physiological science is one thing - performance in a randomised clinical trial is something else. If there was no risk the SP would have already exploded. I've been here for quite some time and happy to stay but think recognising the risk reward balance in a changing market place is healthy - no need for over stating the case unless warm feelings serve some sort of purpose.

The original order is mologic first, avacta complete accreditation, CE mark transfered.

The result with variants is brilliant. TL right to be nervous - we should all be cautious yet mildly excited.

I'm assuming that the drug is activated, that this activation occurs predominantly in tumour cells and that dox side effects are all proportional to systemic levels (amount in circulation (sort of).

If it acts in humans as it does in mice then the current market of £1B+ per year for dox is there - licence to big oncology player and save costs of promotion.......

The main worry has to be cardio toxicity - that is the problem this drug is meant to overcome.

The pro drug is intended to become doxorubicin inside cancerous cells. Cardiac cells uptake dox plus they have high mitochondrial load hence the issue of toxicity . If the pro drug first whatever reason is activates in cardiac cells you will get toxicity. If it fails to get activated in cancerous cells you will get lack of activity. The animal work (mammals) looks promising in both these respects. Unite that dox cardio toxicity is cumulative so even the first dose currently needs to be restricted - the troponin measurements (marker of cardiac damage) will be available at phase 1 but a safety monitoring committee is likely to be looking at those very closely - again animal models looking good.

The other area would be if you get leeching of dox out of cancerous cells and the dynamics of this. Doesn't seem to be a big issue in mice but not a lot of info available.

Given this drug seems to activate in cancerous cells and other tie ups recently announced.

Hold off for somewhere between 3 weeks and 3 years and its looking good (IMO) - the therapeutics are not risk free but the mk cap compares well with other companies in thus space - think Nasdaq listing
