If we didn't have LFDs would current MKT cap be about right given avacta gone into the clinic. I'd be buying at this price - I've other holdings in pharma that don't look as good. I wouldn't buy as many as I have due to the risk but with the lfd I can offset the volume against more then one iron in the fire.

I do think its time for a new CEO or if not that then chairman - someone who is a bit straighter with investors would be nice

AVA004 was on track (don't mention timelines) but was reprioritised because of AVA006.

As the sausage weilding, donkey jockey says the 006 is not affirmers. So why not do them both in parrallel.

Problem for a small cap with low cash is you cannot do everything. The choice to go 006 was a balance of risk (better knowledge / experience), time to market and potential market.

Other projects have been handed over to partners albeit a bit more info would be handy. O04 will have to have a go.no go decision soon but suspect the only way it will speed up will be another partnership.

Yep - think today was a "jeez our cash flow". Only have about 6 months in the bank if govt doesn't pay up plus they are showing a loss on the P&L.

Avacta could make a share only offer thus preserving their cash (and adding £3M) but only if they can get confident that revenue will pick up - overhead needs to very trimmed but some synergy with Avacta DX plus margins benefit from verticle integration.

If avacta are confident they can roll out a range of lfds and Abingdon are cost competitive then it makes sense. Do they move before or after any govt announcement - that deal is the only one they have in common

Logically though why would a cancer patient in remission volunteer to receive an ever increasing dose of a toxic drug. They might choose to withdraw - their Dr may agree

Are you sure? Not sure that would pass ethics. What would be the benefit to the patient, what would be the potential harm.

Suspect the statistics will reflect patients who ceased treatment for this reason. So not a bad thing - especially for the patient

Are you going to post your reply - I think this could be the start of some serious political pressure to explain the £B spent on Chinese test. Govt will want to pivot before that starts.
