Affimers have a size advantage enabling penetration of tissues. Note short half life and boundary effect of radio ligands -/not around long and tend to favour surface. Affimers would address these issues.

I'll not try and forecast RNS - oh what the hell lets say three months +/- four months. So sometime after Sept 2021.

Avacta have a deal with Point Biopharma for a FAP activated radio ligand.

Avacta have their TMAC tech (partly working with Bach who also have a deal with Point for FAP antagonist)

Affimers are recognition molecules. You can attach them to radioactive or chemo agents enabling targeted therapy. Where others go, Avacta can follow

Point have the tech - have a number of products similar to Novartis. They presumably also have the infrastructure. They are currently using a different recognition element.

I get the concern Tut and hey valid to raise it but I'd agree Reisgo that its things like breatherlysers, air detectors etc that are excluded. Not 100% but high enough that the sentence is mildly concerning rather then disastourous. Ifvanythung it is positive because implies will use validated assessment as in that's how you get CEMark.

Do they buy product as part of sponsorship?

SDMC have cleared SNG then as well tolerated - but we already knew that.

Other products failed due to lack of efficacy. SNG001 has not - doesn't mean it works but is as +ve as can be front phase II

Patients will be enrolled into phase 3 but to do so will need to be informed of potential risk and benefits. This will mean results to date.

At some point soon we will get time see the data. Potential for meta-analysis on breathless patients.

Surprised response to today has not been more pronounced. I get hospitalisation rates have been reduced by vaccines but still significant need. I wonder if there are plans for this years flu season

Contracts can have TO clauses - almost certainly when distributors are involved.

The following have all been announced as trial centres. They will start at different times. They signed up before the first patient - their involvement wasn't dependent on how the first patient progressed beyond that for the whole study. Some very important centres here and the CRO will be pleased.

I'm not sure how last years timeline or indeed this years "by the end of September" is giving the Board a heads up. It is also ignoring multiple posters who support what they say by posting the links - I find that a very useful source of info.

Lots of people post opinion and hey that's often what the Board is about. Pretending to have inside sources that turn out after the event to be no more that what your dog overheard in McDs is strange. I am still trying to work out why he does it

1. Influence sentiment and trade. Would need to have more than one poster and damp down opposite view (oh hang on....)

2. Disrupt board from discussing something useful

3. A strange version of a Napoleon complex complete with clip clop sound track, freshly made sausage and a tendency to flounce off stage.

Could be a mix of all three.

I wish him well on his road to recovery. Mainly cause I'm worried about Tuppence ever since I heard about Son of Sam

As science developers the line between Tx and DX is likely to blur. This may raise issues such as the IP for affimers.

The licensing approach is one solution - enables multiple shots albeit at a reduced margin. It also avoids the huge set up costs for a company to go it alone in Tx space.

Plenty of companies have split, plenty haven't. The point about management focus is well made but heavy hitters in both areanas in separately run divisions would also work.

Cash is something - DX can bring it in steadily over time or in one large lump. Licensing is half way house.

No right answers but they will do whatever increases the eventual Tx bonanza. If that were to fail then they might be grateful for a DX division. Readout in Q2 next year will shape decision.

CO you are right - MABs for Tx using phage display have been approved. I was under the impression that for DX the companies continue to use the older tech. Just an impression, partly gained by listening to the recent symposium. What we can say is affimer inside is animal friendly guaranteed.
