If you could mention another company particularly in this space and suggest one minor concern about Avacta you can sit back and watch the research roll in. If you really struggle mention any SP 50% below or 200% above X where X is the current SP.

1. At some point in the next six months we were due massive earnings from the covid test. There was talk of a special dividend. Do they need an extra £45M on top of that?

Splitting the company makes strategic sense. If TO is the aim then more likely to find two sepetate buyers then if one had to buy something they partly don't want.

Does it add value overnight cause somehow this board place a different value on Stem than other potential shareholders - No.

Being a separate company will not improve their revenue or profitability automatically. The actions and achievements going forward will - that's why I'm here but there is not going to be a magic puff of smoke and the combined SP suddenly shoots up just cause you have two companies not one. If that were guaranteed it would happen before we had a chance.

To your point about competition.

Yes there is and probably at least Son a will beat Avacta to market. However, despite Ab based LFDs being a 40 year old tech no-one has delivered yet. They will.

You are right to suggest there will be competition from many companies - some will have lower LoD, others cheaper, etc.
But they haven't delivered yet so its not quite as simple as say yet another pee on a stick hCG test.
However, it does explain in part what Avacta with its modified and potentially advantageous approach is not first.

Whether Covid is going away is not worth discussing. We all have access to the same news. Make your own decision and buy or sell based on that - you don't have to explain it to me or berate my opinion being different

I don't care whether you buy or sell. No one on here knows why price has moved. The best you can do is your own analysis

Look at company presentations and financials. These are a better source of info then the bb.

Consider the opportunity that faces Avacta - what would they need to deliver - do they have the competencies and resources to do it.

What hurdles will they face, what competition is out there.

Then run the numbers. Then adjust based on risks and potential returns.

If you go on sentiment of others then basically handing over decisions about your cash to someone else.

There may be info we don't know out there - its not perfect. Its always been that way. You can do nothing about it. The real value of your shares is the same until something happens to change it - but you decide what changes are occuring.

My test. If I had no shares in this company would I buy at this price - does the risk:reward makes sense compared to alternatives. Not is the price going up or down on sentiment.
