Mission: Pionyr Immunotherapeutics specializes in developing immunotherapies that target the tumor microenvironment. The clinical-stage biotech company has developed an approach, called Myeloid Tuning, that aims to enhance the body’s anti-tumor immunity by modifying myeloid cells at the tumor site. Pionyr has multiple antibody therapeutics in phase 1 studies targeting receptors such as TREM2 and TREM1. The company was founded in 2015 by Dr. Max Krummel, co-inventor of the first checkpoint inhibitor Yervoy.

Clinical Trials: In 2022, the company initiated Phase 1b trials for two of their candidates.

Acquisition: In 2023, Pionyr Immunotherapeutics was acquired by Ikena Oncology.

This was a phase 1 trial and they paid $275m for 49% of the company with rights to buy the remainding 51% for $315m.

Phase 1. Nowhere near the data we have detailing p140 and no where near the scope of cure p140 has with zero side effects.

Maverick, do yourself a favour and look at the mcap. I added £13k yesterday m, am I flapping? No the mcap is frighteningly cheap. This is just getting to the point of getting on people’s radars. This happened worh my other holding BOR all the way from 1p. It hit 12p the other day within a year and could easily do 20-30p with the right deal. People focus on gains way too much and mcap is what matters.

It’s criminal how posters flip the script within an hour on this BB.

There are many of us genuine investors who have a long term plan and see real long term value. Let these chancers take their profits and be replaced with real holders with sticky hands.

Every day we are gathering more investors and losing chancers and the share price will start to reflect that.

This mcap hasn’t started to get anywhere close to where it needs to be, even without further news but we will never see true value reflected here, we will be taken out long before then imo.

Why spent £200m on upfront payments,followed by various milestone payments that can easily add up to £1B and then royalties ontop when you can just buy the full company for £1 per share. (£500m)

This is a $100b a year market, they either cannot afford to let this disrupt the current drugs on the market or they will want to own the rights to it all. This is a cut throat industry and there will be multiple party’s wanted to own 100% of this data.

£1 is actually cheap.
