I know I’ve mentioned it but if equinor took the option and more with cash and the free carry I have no idea where this will end up, BOD already looking at production acquisitions, who knows if they already have something lined up and just waiting on funds.

what are everyone’s expectations of open if equinor take the option? I can see 275p mark on open, it should climb from there but I think you will get a chance to add before £3? Downside if they don’t? £1.80

Any extra news with regards to funding and who knows, it’s a rocket.

Just had a quick read up on that Schiehallion and it’s completley different to the articles I have been reading claiming BP looking to exit North Sea. This says they are looking to double North Sea production by 2020. But they are obviously investing so I’m going with what your saying.

I did read they didn’t want to reinvest into sheerwater water though, whereas shell do,so that was another reason why it would make sense to take that (if the price is right) with us in with shell on arran to take on sheerwater and shell have a partner willing to redevelop aswell.

I Agree on the BP assets jimmy,I’ll be surprised if they pump any more into foinaven and we don’t take the lot of their hands. I’m sure they would rather an exit from the North Sea from what I’ve read.
Tolmount is a monster and I’m sure pmo will need to take advantage of their U.K. tax credits ($3-4B is it?) and get themselves pulled out of that debt pile, I would be very surprised if they sold that and not zama.

One thing I’m confident of is £30 per share before Xmas here and everyone’s sell targets getting rerated.

Would sheerwater still not make more sense giving the arran tie back? BP want to till that so I thought that would be preferred? **** it we will take both.

I wish I was just buying in at these levels, the risk reward really adds up now, liberator even at 8M barrels has to be worth the current mcap to rockrose given the capex required for it.
I’m sure Andrew austin has to be waiting to pounce on this.

Also while reading up on rockrose I noticed arran is 7kboepd now and I’m sure when I first looked at rre it was 4K? That with tain at 6k is a nice 35k boepd by another 18months time.

I still can’t find any accurate numbers on remaining reserves of foinaven or BPs share and daily production? We have 28% of foinaven and 47% of Foinaven east. But even on rockrose homepage it doesn’t say what production comes from them, at least not that I can see?

I’ll take these steady rises everyday, forming a nice base daily at the minute, pulled back in the AM and buyer pressures push through in the pm, great to see.
Nice TR-1 would be perfect timing about now. The only logical resistance to me now is a 300M mcap £24 per share, any thoughts?

Not so sure that gifting 50Mmbo away for free will give to much of a rise other than a real boast of confidence.

Reading up on jse and can’t seem to find any decom figures, there’s non current liabilities on the accounts of around $460M is that decoms for Montara and stag?
I realise they are a while off yet but interested to know some accurate figures as I don’t know if the Australians dsa work the same as U.K.?

I am a longer term investor in my other holdings, I havnt been here very long and made a little profit but have every intention of holding my other half long term
I just felt a little over exposed so decided to reduce my holding.

I have been thinking a lot about jog the last couple of days and I like you and others think it’s a better outcome if equinor were not to take their option of 50% and jog retain all reserves. The market of course would see this as why didn’t they take it?sell sell sell! And there will be temporary drop in sp.

If there is an rns of equinor taking the option I see a 25% rise on open which I might have missed out on before a chance to buy but unless that RNS brings further news of a farm in or extra equity sold to equinor for a free carry( possible) I don’t see any massive rise to miss out on.
At the minute it is still A risk and I don’t mind re adding my other half at a premium when the future is a bit more certain because as you say the upside potential is huge.

Rockrose carry’s this stigma of decoms, like AA said they are open and honest about future liabilities where as many company’s are not.
Anyone who does any real research here knows these liabilities are more than well covered and not any issue at all.
In fact I believe tariff income of the pipeline takes care of the majority of decom cash.

Next aqusition to come soon, I think he’s waiting on i3e drill results, next door to us with attractive RF (50%) so I have read.
