I’m actually more confident about JOG now than I was to at 220p, I think this is the start of a big future for the co.

I think the plans to reduce carbon to zero shows this BOD are ahead of the game and know how to attract partners, this type of ambition Will de-risk the project for investors massively in the current climate imo.

At the end of the day there’s nothing wrong with looking at things with a bit of positivity and optimism.

I am interested to hear people’s thoughts on the IOG deal? Initially seems ok with essentially a free carry (inc cash) for phase 1, although using phase 2 allowance aswell But then the royalty kills it for me?
I just don’t see much growth left for IOG or am I just being pessimistic?

I mean we all expected a drop, although I thought yesterday must have already priced in the ex divi day drop so I thought 1-2% today but to touch 5% is just madness.
Sometimes the markets just don’t make sense though and I do sometimes wonder if a lot of investors don’t understand the magnitude of cash here and the firepower it brings at times like this with slides in the price of oil.
And then you have the $2-3 premium we get per barrel to benchmark Brent prices.

I suppose everything has taken a pasting these last couple of days so I don’t suppose it is anything specific to rre but it’s frustrating to see us back in the 17’s when we should be pushing on into the £20’s.

Sellers at these levels, 22kbopd for free! Sp is completley covered by unrestricted cash. Mind blowing

Ithink 1750 explained the ex divi date last week as having to hold 2 days prior to the record date of the 4th? Which would mean yesterday close was the cut off day day for divi? And ex divi being today the 3rd.
Correct me if I am wrong please, I am not overly clued up with it.

And I’m with you on jog, I hold a small position there now but will add more after farm in news, I do think they have the makings of the next RRE if the right deal is struck.
