I’d like to see the sale of arran to shell and make a bid for BP’s equity in sheerwater, BP want out and shell want a partner who is willing to invest and extend the life of the field.

Maybe to maturer fields actually, AA will be looking for newer assets now to wipe out any decom concerns.

Would we have a pop at Serica do we think? Maybe sell off any foreign assets and keep the core North Sea ones? Mostly gas aswell which we know suits AA’s plans and at say £350-400M that would be a hell of a t/o taking us to near 50,000boepd before arren coming online.

I lost money here too but I don’t see why everyone is expecting a bounce, maybe a steady climb back before next spud but I’d say 35p will be the cap from now on.

What’s everyone’s expectations if equinox take up the option? I’m thinking it’s going to the wire over % negotiations.
Anyone seen any similar deals and what percentages might be given away for a free carry? Obviously the 50% wouldn’t be given away free (I hope) but to expect 50% and a free carry is optimistic.
Would a 70-30 split with free carry be a likely outcome? Which is a hell of a deal in my eyes 36m barrels is over $ 1B of Pre tax NPV.
Even if you said this valued us at £200M mcap that’s around £9 per share.

I took a hit this morning(few k), probably not a good move selling at 35p but I’m done with drills, like GL said rre success is because of its business model and why change a winning formula, the remainder of my i3e holding will be split between RRE and JOG. I see 100% upside in these two company’s.
