Shame to drop in here and see this sub 20p today, as superritch just posted this seems to be the same play as it always has been, if the trigger isn’t pulled in the next couple of years it never will be and there’s cash to cover that timescale. I sold out myself at 25p because this board was seriously depressing and it wasn’t worth reading the same arguments day in day out,That and The length of time it has taken to submit application to ukef was enough for me.

I still watch from the side lines and will jump back in even if I have to pay 30-40p one morning it will still be a bargain with the right news.

I really think there’s going to be a deal on this, I’ve only just learned that Arran is a tie back to the sheerwater platform which is also operated by shell.(lax research) I not that I would like to lose Arran but I wonder if there could be reduce price tag to rockrose in exchange for our 30% in Arran? 200M and Arran would make sense for a £250M price tag on sheerwater?

Any lower and we become a t/o target imo. Someone like Pmo regardless of debt could stump up 300M for us and take advantage of their 4B uk tax credit. With cash on the balance sheet the company is for free. I’m glad we have AA at the helm with plenty of his own money in here aswell

With regards to directors buying shares I realise there is a month or so window where no price sensitive information can be issued but does anyone know the rules in more depth? What if something comes on AA radar next week which he had no knowledge of prior to the directors buying, Does he have to wait or can they prove this wasn’t in the pipeline prior to the buys so should be allowed to bid on an company/asset?

I know there’s been a few tr1s with instis reducing position but I think they are reducing as little as they have to to play buy their own rules. The fact this is holding so well with oil scaring many pi’s out aswell as profit taking from longer term
