Shame the RNS did not have the percentage change from 2016... That would then show in basic terms huge increases from the last few years not just 2016... This is just the start of the turnaround with any luck... If we can build on this for 2018 then maybe get some profit on the books we could see a rerate from 2p towards 6p...

That’s why we aren’t posting on GDG board... Whatever happens there doesn’t affect the fact that GDL will soon be in a much better position. Hopefully my 2p shares will make some profit!

Happy to wait now it seems like we have finally lifted off the bottom, I have a 4 year window befor I’m done and pulling out of speculative plays so hopefully a decent return on my recent purchases. Everything happens for a reason and the China slowdown saw us diversify into India, maybe a lesson learned and some new geography will be added in the medium term...

Possy it looks like you are replying to the imbecile who has obviously lost a lot of money on GDG... I filtered his ranting BS a long time ago and I suggest you do the same.. He hates any thought of anybody doing well where he has so dismally failed, we all know the past issues and some even predicted them but there is a bottom here and GDL have already hit it... It’s only up from here, could be a little, could be a lot but at least we are no longer fully reliant on the Chinese unlike big brother!

Who is going? Cant make this year but will def make the trip back for next year if we dont see some real action soon...

Jeepers that will be interesting to watch... Still think less than 3p is a real bargain, if we get movement on the China and India stuff later this year this will treble in days... still volume needs to be much higher and until the cash hits the bottom line I cant see above 5p holding all that long... Ive got 2019 pencilled in for 15-20p range now subject to mob orders on the work outlined... We may even here whispers of Rig orders and dual listing again 2019/2020.... Is that a fat lady singing?

The lack of recent interest/volume and the headline 70% spread are doing nobody any favours tho... Need to see a good run of positive news to get the volume up... Should start before the end of the year to meet those time frames...

A quick read through from April seems to indicate the following work: GCZ: 147 wells to be drilled by end of 2018 (Total expenditure $50m+) GFC: 5 vertical + 2 horizontal by May 2018 (Total expenditure c. $7m) GQY: 19 vertical + 8 horizontal by Sep 2018 (Total expenditure c. $17m) GPX: 2 vertical + 2 horizontal by May 2018 (Total expenditure c. $3m) Not all of the cash will come to GDL but it will be a large proportion of it... Total for these c. $77m!! Not to mention GSS which is scheduled for 42 vertical and 47 LiFaBriC by the end of 2020 (Total expenditure c.$190m) And further commitments in phase 2 for the other blocks, additional $2m contract for PetroChina... And awaiting final confirmation of $15m/3 year contract for ONGC in India Added together and even if only a fraction is completed on time this is starting to look very very cheap at 2p!

Doh! Yup just reread it... A little excitement and some confirmation bias creeping in to that mis-read... However based on recent GDG statements it does look as though 2018 will finally be the 'transformational' year RG has mentioned so frequently in the past....

Heh Jamie, On page 23 detailing the 8 block portfolio each block has a number of LiFaBriCs completed with a target number for the block alongside I.e 8/20 I just totalled up the number still left to complete... 142 just for GCZ and GSS... Not saying we will get them all but the plan is there....

Anyone else make that 230 LiFaBriC wells to be drilled... still at roughly $1.5m each I presume... ???
